No, you don't. Games have been complete rubbish since 2010, blame "games as a service" that are no longer "games I pay for once and own forever".
Its OK not knowing what Fortnight is. Fortnight is a game that is primarily played by the under 16s and anyone over that age who play it will rarely admit to it.😄
@@MC-emmcee I know what it is, I just don't think playing a game online with "pretend Internet friends", most of whom are doing their best to cheat constantly, is better than getting your real friends over a few times a year for beer, pizza or BBQ, and a LAN party for a bit of Quake, Unreal Tournament or Red Alert.

I have an orange pi 5 plus 16gb collecting dust and now i have a 3 day weekend. Currently running Ubuntu from a 512gb nvme ssd. Hopefully i can install Android to the ssd without to many headaches.
Please stay away from versions of Android that have Google Apps installed because all you are doing is parting with your own money to turn the Orange Pi 5 into a surveillance device for Google.
Lineage OS or one based purely on AOSP (Android Open Source Project) is safe to use. After installing that you can activate the F-Droid store (which just contains Open Source software) and then use the Aurora store to get at least some free apps from the Google Play Store.
Unfortunately, installing the Google Play Store in Google Apps installs Google Play Services and that is what communicates your personal data to Google - as well as forcing you to log in with a Google account on the device.

Stay out of the storm. Use select to bring up the map purple is bad, the map will show where the safe zone is
Sorry not finding the Orange Pi v5 for $42 - finding an Orange Pi 5 Pro at $60 which is still a good deal

a standalone build of fortnite that doesn't connect to epic servers, only custom servers.
It started off great, with some impressive gameplay. But then the distressed cat and it's owner ignoring it became the sole focus. Not a good look at all.

I'd stick with playing with the cat - far more fun to be found there than playing Fortnite online with a bunch of ten year olds.
