Crisis on infinite earth's is the greatest crossover in comics history. And I will say I was 11 when it ended and I cried so hard when supergirl died saving her cousin. She had no right almost winning that fight but she single Handley almost beat the anti monitor and it was for love. Love for her family member. Amazing writing.
Dont forget that in injustice, lois dying also triggered a nuke in metropolis. Superman lost not only his wife and child, but his home and most of his friends and family by his own (unwilling) hands
The death of Barry Allen was personally my favorite death In dc comics and I was fine with him staying dead for a ver Long time because it gave Wally west to become my favorite flash of all time.
Anybody that has watched Justice league unlimited and watched Wally West due to doing the around the world punches on brainiac Luther Will understand pure heartbreak
Good but him getting pulled into the Speed Force for the first time in Terminal Velocity is way better, Linda losing her shit and attacking Kobra was kinda how we all felt
OGs know that what was done to Red Tornado was essentially done long before with the Vision and saw this as more of a drawn out Vision Question. Still a great story, I honestly dug seeing Grundy that way. Yet it wasn't really anything new.
All the Flashpoint changes were caused by Dr Manhattan not Barry, he just happened to be outside of time while the changes were being made meaning he remembers how the universe was prior to that.
Yeah but that's a retcon. Within the context of the original Flashpoint story, Barry was the one who changed everything back, so they're not wrong to describe it as such in the video.
@@chikish not entirely as you do see Pandora fucking around with shit when he’s returning. Also the change he made wouldn’t have resulted in such drastic differences
Barry appeared a few times before his resurrection in Flash Rebirth, Flashes can time travel remember... ....and the picture you showed for him returning is actually when Wally came back after DC Rebirth
You missed Tim (Robin 3) Drake's dad dying in Identity Crisis, and Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) in Infinity Crisis. Then there was Batman in Final Crisis and Superman in Superman 75 after his battle with Doomsday.
I'll never forget that the Justice League had Zatanna mind punch the hell out of Dr light. Then proceeded to stomp the hell out of poor Bats's mind probably the most ruthless vigilante in the group was the only person trying to do the right thing like Spike Lee
Sue didn't die for no reason. It wasn't a huge world changing reason, but it was still a reason. I am not saying or implying her death is anyway justifiable, but to say she died for no reason completely ignores the small and more emotional stories in comics
these arent "heartbreaking" their more just shocking and emotional things, like how when thomas gave bruce a letter it didnt make me sad it made me h-happy? not happy but u get the point
For me it was the onslaught arc as I was that age and doing the old school stuff week after week. Going to the comic book store and eagerly waiting for the shipment etc. Crisis is great too but since I just ended up getting the whole thing in one go...it didn't have the same effect.
Call him Dr Feel good. Everybody need a little control sometimes. Ain't nothing wrong with some consent and permission. Equality is equality. Then again losing control is very primal and fun too.
I am Pleasantly Shocked!!.. So, apart from 2 this is essentially just a list of bad things that happened to people that happened to be a member at one point, not really anything that happened to the league.
After this summation, it really hits home how much of the original story arcs are in Zack Snyders Justice League. 🥲 He really is the David Lynch of the DCEU.

I was just about to say that 👏🏿 oh and the transformed form of Shazam AKA Captain marvel is still but a boy himself Billy batson
And than in response he decided to become a freaking dictator.
The death of Barry Allen was personally my favorite death In dc comics and I was fine with him staying dead for a ver Long time because it gave Wally west to become my favorite flash of all time.
Barry is the best
@@suhaibmasoudi647 Barry sucks. He meant infinitely more to the DC Universe as their patron saint than he ever could as The Flash.
Was crazy seeing him in a marvel comic destroying the marvel speedsters in a race than dipping
@@WoooodZz2688 yup indeed

True but it was Superman's death by The Toyman although he was sent far into Earth's apocalyptic future was better.
Good but him getting pulled into the Speed Force for the first time in Terminal Velocity is way better, Linda losing her shit and attacking Kobra was kinda how we all felt
10 Best Comics Based On Video Game franchises
Agree
Trying to think of one now.... mega man?
Don’t forget about Sonic the Hedgehog
@@conspiracygeek5486 Which one? Archie, Fleetway or the current run from I think Image Comics?
@@GabePuratekuta It's IDW right now, and I am ashamed to admit that it's the only one I've read so I'd say that one lol
Who would have thought that the Justice League's greatest villain would be Joss Whedon...
Bro the entire deceased story line is heartbreaking

Great video, there are so many of these that I still need to read.
I love the flash and hearing this again makes me cry

The death of Blue Beetle doesn’t rank?
I agree. Everyone turns their back on Ted and it ends with him being casually murdered by a previous friend.
Rot in hell, Max.
The Shazam one was bs. The letter from Thomas to Bruce was next level tho.
I'll never forget that the Justice League had Zatanna mind punch the hell out of Dr light. Then proceeded to stomp the hell out of poor Bats's mind probably the most ruthless vigilante in the group was the only person trying to do the right thing like Spike Lee
Green arrow injustice death hit different as well
Thank God this didn't actually happen I would hate to use more MTF squads

The most tragic comic moments are always the ones where a hero dies by pushing their powers too far in order to stop a villain.
I heard there is going to be a green lantern movie
Missing the death of Steel from the JLA Detroit Era not John Henry Irons.
For me it was the onslaught arc as I was that age and doing the old school stuff week after week. Going to the comic book store and eagerly waiting for the shipment etc.
Crisis is great too but since I just ended up getting the whole thing in one go...it didn't have the same effect.

I do have 5 of that moments in paper
Red tornado is basically Vision. It’s not that heartbreaking. :P
Red Tornado and Vision both debuted in August 1968
...sentient robots aren’t exactly rare, hell Visions body was that of the Human Torch at one point.
3:58 superman burns out captain marvel's eyes.
Is what it should say.
Awesome and cool!
Hang on hang on HANG ON. You could’ve picked any of the deaths from Injustice and you picked SHAZAM’S?
No Ted Kord "Rot In Hell, Max."??????!
Justice League moment death
Jules himself deserves a muah chef's kiss all bro bro (pc version of no homo hoping it catches on lol)
manhunters death hurt man
What about Superman kills Green arrow?
They could probably do an entire list for that comic alone, if they haven't already
I think the most heartbreaking thing to happen in DC Comics is the way they did Wally West dirty after bringing back Barry Allen
Red Tornado is an Avatar air bender

Over there. I tried to stop it but was too late...
Barry Allen was definitely the best due to what it caused

Real number one bad thing to happen to the Justice League was Joss Whedon.
So, apart from 2 this is essentially just a list of bad things that happened to people that happened to be a member at one point, not really anything that happened to the league.
#1: Joss Whedon.
