I was the same, just go into practice mode and get rid of all A.I. defenders and do skill moves for 20 mins everyday before you play online. That's how I learned.

@@NXHPES there's a point where it goes too quickly, which it is in this video. Pausing and resuming can disrupt concentration. The "intrusive" instruction animation didn't help the case either.
@@tommegg8486 just to make sure the other side is represented I could both read at that pace and enjoy the animation. The video would be too boring if it stayed on too long. The necessary info is in giant font so you can't miss it, and if you missed the little details you can pause it. It's a good system.

Four year's of FIFA. It took one day of PES to convert me. It's taken a month to get used to the basics. Hard wired FIFA didn't help. Slowly getting better.

@@thebeast647 Gameplay is what I liked about PES. EA haven't released a game worth playing for year's. Hopefully they get this one right on next gen console's
@@Bikertyke Fifa gameplay is 10x better than Pes and I own both and tried to get into pes this week... it's very choppy, unrealistically slow, zero agility, terrilbe dribbling,, etc etc. Theres a reason Fifa has 100x the payer base and it's not the licensing
@@thebeast647 I prefer simulation gameplay. Realistic ball physics etc. I found FIFA over the last few edition's poor. I've bought last 5 and that was enough. If you have a PC PES with all the mods blows FIFA away. But it's all preference.

Your skill is not effective when versus in legend mode haha
Great tutorial but I think it only works on low difficulty because on Super Star or Legend most of these moves will be tackled by your opponent and in online as well.

The last patch killed the game for me, literally zero first touch, no movement, horrible long passes and feels like friendly ai is just turned off. At least on high difficulty. I would love to do some tricks but at this point it's impossible.

The thing i really don't like about PES is the keeper animation. It's just too slow, like he was floating when jumping. Really take away realistic feel this game have.

Speedy Poodle I use most of the techniques that I mentioned in Solid Defense technique tutorial. Recording my controller for 15min is not a good idea and the button is normally cover by my hand, you can’t see the clearly also

Did you try the finesse dribbling online too? I honestly have 500-600 games played online and nobody I've faced was using it. I tryed it time ago, but i found it to be unworth the risk...
It’s really up to the network condition actually. If the network is lag, then no matter the technique you use, it’s not effective. If the network is good, the finesse drible works just fine
@@NXHPES Same experience, have been getting used to using finesse dribbling online, but like you say it only works when the game isn't lagging. I use an internet connection, have require stable connection on for online settings. I find a surprisingly good amount of smooth games with no lag in ranked. During matchday it's a different story though, lots of laggy games. I block the user if the game is laggy.
That’s the problem with this game if the online connection not good it really force you to play pass and move and it takes a lot of fun out of the game play experience It really limited what u can do if you’re a creative player and it’s absolutely frustrating Coming from a fifa player
@@saka3364 Agreed pal, when your opponent uses gengenpress it breaks the game even more, when the connection is laggy. The game needs dedicated servers.
@@karl343 dedicated servers are not the Always the solution. Since EA added dedicated servers to fifa, the connectivity started to get worse and worse every year and now a huge part of the fifa community are asking to be able to play via peer to peer again. 😄
I'd be fine if konami just put the stable connection filter in matchday too, because there's a huge difference in button responsiveness between matchday and ranked matches.
Fifa messed me up! Pes 2020 is the best football game ever! I forsook PES for abt 3 years since pes 17. Due to the stupidity in master league(still some like the buy out clauses and many more) But now im back. And I have to re-learn how to play it.

Are you even doing against Super Star.. the move are basic though but that Modric part like you lure him to your Goal area and you turn quickly is impossible.
To be honest the best way to win every game online and offline. Its easy and funny because if you dont score the goal, enemy player will faul you xD Its WIN WIN

I have the same problem they just sprint at me then stop on a dime and poke the ball away I just started playing football so I'm still learning but it's becoming terribly frustrating how easy it is for the defender to take the ball
Because you guy run fast while the defender is in front of you. When you have opponents close to you, release R1, then turn the backs into the defender to shield the ball. You must shield the ball well (watch my first touch and ball shielding tutorial) to avoid being intercepted
