Hairlicious Inc. Can you help me explain how to know when to do a deep conditioning and when to do a protein treatment. When I wash my hair in the shower, I see some breakage. Does that mean that I need a protein treatment or deep conditioning treatment?
Girl, I have been a relaxed 4C person since I was a kid. I always had a good head of hair. After having my children and being severley anemic, my hair is a waste land of abuse, everyone kept saying go natural..im not a natura girl. Ive always liked having my hair relaxed, but do feel the stigma thats attached to it. ANyhooo....chillleeeeee. I have been following your routine weekly for mine and my daughters hair. The first week, i noticed less breakage, the second week even less, third week there was no hair in the shower or the sink, or the comb after doing it. So i was like nice this is good, time to relax, i followed your suggestion and did a protein treatment right after the relaxer....and BAAAAAAAAAABY! My hair has NEVER in my 40 years on this planet felt that smooth, detangled, soft and strong. Im hooked. Thank you so much Hairlicious!
🌙 ImOnlyADream🌙 how are you going to come up here and tell a mother what to do to her own child's hair? literally stay in your lane and mind your business. damn

so happy to have found your channel! I am holding my relaxed head up high now. Can you believe I’ve been “relaxer shamed”?? 😕. A woman in the beauty shop saw me buying my relaxer and said “people still use that stuff”? My hair is long and healthy! I love your tips especially since my hair is dry. I am now focused on getting it moisturized and super strong 💪🏾! Keep the videos coming!

They notice relaxers are making a comeback. I went to the pharmacy the other day and saw a box of relaxer was off the shelf. I saw it and was like "oh im not alone then 👀". I stared at it for a bit but decided I'd get it online instead 😂.
UPDATE: 1) used it the first time when I was dealing with 8 months of new growth. I only liked the bond mender and the shampoo for detangling. The conditioner didn’t feel moisturizing or give slip. Thought about returning it 2nd Attempt: tried it a second time after I finally relaxed and was about 4 weeks post. My hair took very well to all 3 steps in the system. It felt smooth, soft, easy to comb , and moisturized Thanks for the video definitely adding this to my staple products, throwing out my aphogee it doesn’t work well for me anymore.
This stuff is fantastic. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and my hair has improved SO MUCH! No more clumps left behind on my comb/brush and it is sooooo soft. 🥰
@brandi1525 - So funny you made this comment. I have been transitioning for about a year and I don’t like it. I felt sooo guilty because this is the 2nd time trying to transition. I don’t wear weaves, braids or wigs either. Which is what most transitioning people have recommended to me. Did you transition from natural to relaxed too? 🤗
Thank you so much for all your videos. I started my hair journey a month ago and i do not loose as much hair as before. Thank you so much again for sharing. 😉
Well Val this worked so good. I think I found my shampoo and conditioner. After two years of trying different products this and the Joico products works. I finally got that slip and soft feeling everyone talks about. The conditioner is so thick my husband had to squeeze it ot the bottle for me. Happy dance whoop. 💃 Now I need to work on my hair breakage. I will be trying the black tea rince method. I'm right above bra strap and I so want to cut off about an inch. My hair is super stressed from being sick. ❤️ Thanks Val. You're a healer. 😊 🙏
Thanks for the great video. 🤩😍😍 My hair is damaged really badly and becomes frizzy when I try to air dry it, unless I use heat, which I’m trying to steer away from. I’m going to try to braid my hair like you did , add a roller to the end, and leave it overnight. Thank God that I glad I came across your video!!!❤️❤️❤️

I need this in my life! I have just above waist length relaxed hair and I get quite a lot of breakage during my stretch. I've watched a few reviews for this range but they have all been on natural hair, so thank for this review it's been very informative. Now to find the range in the UK as I've not seen it here yet. I've subscribed and look forward to watching your vids!
This product line recently launched at a beauty expo here in JA and I decided to purchase the bond mender and the conditioner off your recommendation. I already use the creme of nature argan oil shampoo the salon size and it's my fav shampoo of all time so I passed on the new one. Looking forward to testing it out!
I have relaxed hair. It is as dry as the Sahara desert. It is past bra length and very thick. I have no special routine other than wash condition and blow dry every other week. I am lazy. I do not even steam my hair. My hair drinks products. It desperately needs hydration. I decided to try this product line on thee week dirty hair (don’t judge lol) Step one seemed nice. I divided my hair into 4 sections to get my hair saturated. I used it on dry hair. My hair was soft and easy to manage after application of step 1. The comb glided through my hair. Next was step 2. Shampoo. I think the build up of 3 weeks of products made it difficult for the shampoo to lather. I got a lather on my second Shampoo. My hair felt nice after using the shampoo. My hair has never felt so soft after a shampoo. I was rather impressed at this point. Step three was the conditioner. The conditioner was thick and nice. I was excited when i squirted it unto my hands. I applied it and waited for 5 min. This is where things took a downhill plunge for me. My hair felt so stiff, so brittle and so unmanageable after washing out the conditioner. I tried running my hands through my hair but couldn’t without water running directly on my head. I kept the faith and finished washing out the conditioner. Then tied my head with a t’shirt for 25 min to soak up the excess water. When I removed the t’shirt to begin the blow dry process I was unpleasantly met with DRY unmanageable hair. My hair felt tangled and matted. I had to rerun to the shower and use my regular conditioner to make the blow dry process manageable. For me the conditioner is a no. Even though I conditioned my hair again. It just didn’t feel right. After my blow dry session my hair still felt stiff. I am on the fence about these products. The conditioner didn’t react well with my hair.
UPDATE: 1) used it the first time when I was dealing with months of new growth. I only liked the bond mender and the shampoo for detangling. The conditioner didn’t feel moisturizing or give slip. Thanks for another great video. I purchased the Plex bonding treatment but did not get the shampoo because I have a keratin treatment in my hair and the shampoo is not sulfate free.I liked the slip & smell. I’m using it for the second time today. I’ll have to see after a month or so if it’s really doing anything. I have a separate question. I no longer relax my hair since I have a keratin treatment. Would you consider me to be in the natural hair category or the relaxed category?

Beautiful. How often should we use it, every other week, once a month...? Missed you and glad to see you back. You always give great tips for us relaxed girls. Thanks for always sharing.
Please I need your advice. I've lost my edges due to tight braids I did in the past and they just don't want to grow back. I've tried using castor Oil. It actually grows other parts of my head but not my edges. It just seems to have gone bald. Please how do I grow them back. Thanks
It’s best to use all of the products together as it’s highly recommended for better results overall. However, I’ve used the bond mender on it’s own and it worked perfectly.
Where in the relaxer cycle would you suggest we use this? I know you suggest protein for the week before a relaxer, so would you suggest this for the week before that and/or the week after the relaxer to repair bonds?
i hope this isn't too late, but this set can be used every week, if you don't want to use it every week and would like to use your usual wash day products on other wash days, you can use this plex set on relaxer days or the wash day after relaxer, then go about your normal wash day routine on subsequent wash days. hope this helped
It is a bonding product like olaplex. I was using olaplex prior to using this and I thought it was doing ok on my hair. I mean i still had falling hair and breakage. BUT from the first use of creme of nature plex system I was amazed! No more breakage every time i touch my hair!! AND most importantly THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS LESS THAN $25!!!
@@striving2beholy Looks like a great system for us relaxed ladies and those who are considering transitioning as well. How did the conditioner make your hair feel? There is one review of it on Sally's website and it wasn't favorable--said it made their curls feel like they were going to break.
