Atheist, but not a satanist. I don’t think atheism and his brand of satanism go together. But two genuine questions here: 1. Do you believe his story? And not in the sense of “oh well I believe that he believes it.” Do you believe what he says happened? 2. Have you ever had a spiritual experience like this? Doesn’t have to be with satan.
The person probably was a well intentioned pastor at one point. His fall was probably a gradual one, with each step leading him further from where he probably thought he was going, until he was so far away from what he was originally that he was unrecognizable. It's best not to poke at the corruption of sin, if only because it has a sneaky, elusive quality most people think they are "smarter than". Satan is the ultimate con man, so much that he conned himself out of what was good for him. My opinion is to be aware of the games deceivers play, but don't think you're smarter than them. Given time, as Vegas may put it, the house (or in this case, the con men) will win, so don't play to begin with.
What I don't get is that it is SO common today for people to have strange alien encounters, mystical experiences, spiritual highs, locutions, illusions, imaginations and hearing a voice (allegedly God) etc. and instead of these people questioning the experience they are lead astray by the experience because it plays on interior pride of being "unique" "singled out" or "chosen" ..and if you ever study the history of the church and its Saints, the ones God has truly interacted with and spoken to are very few and far between in history, quite frankly the true ones are RARE, even those that Lucifer is permitted to interact with. This generation has an alleged surplus, it's ubiquitous, which tells me it's fake. And then that begs the question, is it the demons? Or is it DARPA?
People have always had these experiences, and in large numbers, but were afraid to talk about them in the West because of attacks from both traditional religious people and the psychological establishment. Even today, most "religious" people will make any kind of effort to deny the reality of the "spirit world" and its ubiquity - and this goes double for the academic / psychological community. If you study the spirituality of the East, Middle East and the pagan West through the centuries, you will see just how often these things really do happen. These people often question their experiences, and pride has no place in a true experience of the "supernatural". In fact, as I've already mentioned, most people who have these experiences deny them to themselves in order to fit in to "normal" society because they do not want to be "special" and "unique" because they had a paranormal experience that others would shun them for. Even from your point of view where "The Natural Order" was established by God, in which humans are inferior and subject to Their will; and Lucifer was the contrarian that wanted to depose God and disrupt this order which They saw as unfair; They would do so by freeing humanity and teaching it to overcome the limits imposed to them and step up from their imposed place at creation. Otherwise, They would be just the same as God, which They are not, are They? Damn, Lucifer is such a convincing character to side with, if They just wasn't a fairytale just like the rest of supernatural beings...
You warn us about a super natural being taking interest in us as being a danger. Then how do you reconcile that with the foundational principle of religion…that God and Jesus Christ, far superior beings to us, have an interest in our well being and act in our best interest? It is this type of dissonance that separates people from engaging with faith.

Something you don’t mention about higher beings are Guardian Angels. First, the lowest Angel that serves God is greater than Satan because fallen angels did not receive complete knowledge. One could argue that faith has the same results, that everyone dies too, and therewith that any temporary benefits gleaned are also nullified in death too. The notion and incentive of hope is as open to any practice of faith/hope and trust in a higher, whether an institution such as the Catholic Church or the direct revelatory encounter with a higher power of any sort.

Dude, I so respect your point of view, but when I hear your pragmatic rationalization rooted in biological determinism with references to "species" and so on, I wonder if Christianity is just a phase for you. Seriously, Christianity, especially in its most orthodox manifestations, aims to escape reason, to go beyond reason; it's an antidote to our toxic, "I know" mind; it's a refuge in another realm where reason is useless and can only drag you down back into the toxicity of a godless materialistic world of species and the fragmented, atomized, soulless and maddening universe. Every time you try to reconcile these two incompatible worlds, you lose, big time. JK:) Great video!
Thomism elevates reason by reconciling it with faith; both are necessary although obviously we walk by faith not by sight. Forgoing reason for faith alone is what lead to protestantism with all it's errors rooted in logical fallacies.
@@NTNG13 We can never forgo our reason for anything. All we can do is temper it so that it doesn't dwell too much on materialistic theories and concepts (such as those that this Channel often indulges in, which have nothing to do with God, but are products of human egos) that only lead us away from God's creation into a cold and uncaring universe imagined by humans. Actually, I've always thought that Protestantism puts too much emphasis on reason, which is why it's all talk and no worship. I personally prefer well-decorated churches with services focusing on prayers, hymns, and heavenly music (since it all appeals to my heart/soul, not to my reason) as it allows me to escape my ego and reunite with God, which can only be done through my heart/soul; not through my reason. While all teachings that appeal to your reason, including Thomism and Protestantism, might have their merits, once some dude starts appealing to my logic, by interpreting scriptures to me [usually from a very materialistic and literal perspective] or telling me how I'm supposed to live my life, whether it's in a Protestant church or on this channel, this is where the departure from God begins.

It is this type of dissonance that separates people from engaging with faith.
this is the same reason why I keep clicking on your videos Brian 😍 I love hearing disturbing people speak
Huh?
how is Brian disturbing?
@@crazyb1ch he says stuff publicly like 'the 21st century is defined by the modern and the postmodern" as if those two intellectual movements aren't 100 years apart 😭
in general with Christian content I get the vague feeling that behind the rhetoric they just wanna kill me because I'm trans, that is pretty disturbing
Acabo de ver otro video en español. De un laico catolico. Habla de lo mismo. Me ha resultado muy inquietante la coincidencia
Something you don’t mention about higher beings are Guardian Angels. First, the lowest Angel that serves God is greater than Satan because fallen angels did not receive complete knowledge. A fallen angels knowledge is incomplete, therefore they are below all of God’s angels. But they are not serving us as much as they are serving the will of God. ¡Viva Cristo Rey! ♾✝️👑
I'd like to know who the ex-pastor is.
don't. curiosity is weakness. seek only the truth in preapproved narratives

was interested in occult stuff (nothing explicitly satanic) but realized it was so far beyond me and now I fully realize how powerless we are without Jesus Christ the Lord. He saves!
Edit: great point at the end about “what did they gain?” Madness and lunacy is so real with this stuff! Be aware and stay away! Only God and Jesus prevail and give us eternal life.
Nice video brother. But do remember we have fellowship with angels. And whether the other species in question is friend or foe, we all coexist in the same universe and interact on a daily basis.
"Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”" -Revelation 22:8-9
P.S.: RUclips changed their logo a while back to celebrate "World Tarot Day". Shame.
A powerful, full grown man offers a mystery drink to a little child, if only they first leave their father behind.
With God, we are protected. If we leave God, we are defenseless.
defenseless? what's satan going to attack you with? the power of dangerous ideas? it's not like you have no agency
if a being is your creator then he will not use or abuse you for his own benefit?
That's a leap in logic if I've ever seen one.
it's a perfectly logical conclusion to make if your entire theology is premised on the Creator being morally perfect.
@@crazyb1ch it _would_ be a perfectly logical conclusion if Brian used the premise you laid out instead of the one he did.
So as a "pastor" it didn't occur to him to rebuke this thing in the Name above all names? It didn't occur to him to test the spirits? I don't believe he was ever a pastor. Lastly, his experience reminds me of teilhard de chardin's experience.
Are not you an american?

While all teachings that appeal to your reason, including Thomism and Protestantism, might have their merits, once some dude starts appealing to my logic, by interpreting scriptures to me [usually from a very materialistic and literal perspective] or telling me how I'm supposed to live my life, whether it's in a Protestant church or on this channel, this is where the departure from God begins.
have you tried eastern orthodoxy. from what I can tell, they don't even try to rationalize anything. it's all accepted as a mystery.
How did Father Brown detect the false priest? He was arguing against reason. That is poor theology.
