- Sheldon is obsessed over the status of Meemaw’s budding relationship with his mentor, Dr. Sturgis. Meemaw tells Sheldon that adults need to have some alone time with each other. George wants to bond with his daughter Missy. She wants her dad to take her to the fanciest restaurant in Texas, Red Lobster. After Dr. Sturgis gets off the phone with Sheldon, he calls Connie and wants to cook her a Szechuan feast, a style of Chinese cooking he learned during his travels through China. He tells Connie not to mention the dinner to Sheldon so as to keep him from being underfoot.

I think I figured out the difference between Sturgis and Sheldon. Sturgis can hear how things work, and actually adapt his behaviour. Whereas Sheldon heard all that, can process it as information, but can't modify his actions.
Shows the kid is mentally handicapped.

does nobody notice how they used color to contrast Dr.Sturgis and Meemaw? Dr. Sturgis' color scheme is all beiges and blues, implying his life is bland and schedueled. On the other hand, Meemaw's color scheme is bright and energetic, showing her sponteneity.
