GIRL don’t be ashamed to use color at 39. For one you don’t even look 39, and secondly color is amazing and makes you stand out!!!! One of the main reasons I follow you is because I love color and am not interested in watching the same neutral make up look from all the other creators. I want to see color!!! And you make color look so good and so wearable that it gives me confidence that I will still be able to rock color when I’m your age!! 😍

For real! Some of my favorite creators that test the main stream brands always do the same neutral looks! Like what happened to all the pretty colorful fun looks… Because I wore neutral makeup almost every day for years and ever since I started playing with color, I have just been living my best life. But it’s all thanks to Angi because she completely inspired me to start doing that. I love seeing her wear bright colors! It makes me so happy ❤ I wish it would be trendy to create bright colorful dramatic makeup again 😂 that’s why the indie makeup creators always grab my attention over anyone else when it comes to eyeshadow!

A berry palette with some green would also work. Pink and green looks are beautiful and berries have green leaves and stems.

I’m loving you doing all these interesting video ideas and shouting out the creators who came up with them. It makes my makeup heavy feed feel fresh and interesting. After years of watching reviews for entertainment the actual format can feel boring.
I'm older than Angie, and I wear what I feel. I live in a desert and I see beige sand and rocks every day. But cactus flowers have brilliant colors. That's when the desert has a color parade 🌼🌵
I'll be 50 next month, and the only time I don't wear vibrant, colourful eyeshadow is at the school meetings when I have to look professional, but that is me, and I'd never say to not do so-unless it's for business not relating to makeup or fashion(I've been asked by family and friends about that, and tell them to save the fun makeup for outside the boardroom.).
So I say *meow*k the haters, and wear colourful eyeshadow and blush, whatever you feel like. If they don't like it tough...cookies, it's not on their face.
Hell, my Mother still wears Teals, Blues, and Violet/Mauve shades, and a vibrant bright Red lipstick, and her response to haters is unprintable, yet priceless.

I think with some of those larger monochromatic palettes it is better to think of them as a collection of singles in shades of a specific color family than as a stand alone palette. It can be a cost effective way of adding colors as opposed to purchasing individual shadows. They can seem a little repetitive since they are trying to give you the most options to suit any skintone. Even with a smaller 9 pan monochromatic palette, there will only be 3-5 pans I use consistently since those are the right shades in the right texture for how I use eyeshadow on my hooded eyes.
I thought for sure instead of the Orange You Glad palette you would have said the Blue Moon palette, but I get the love of . And the Do Not Disturb BH palette is chef's kiss. Oh, and screw wearing age-appropriate makeup. I'm 38, and they can pry my colorful eyeshadow out of my cold, dead fingers. 🙊 I said what I said, and I'm one .
I too love oranges and warm greens. So it's nice to see you wear those colors. Life is too short to not wear what you like.🧡💚
I feel as if the Blend Bunny Juicy Cheeks kind of has the vibe of the Citrus Punch. It brings in purple (and doesn’t have any shimmer) but I think they’d pair well and make a fantastic look. 🍊🍋🍊🍋

OMG! When BH filed for bancrupcy, I was traveling from Sweden to Berlin and I chased down every palette in the say it collection on your recommendation! I think I visited more then 25 stores before the mission was complete 😂😂

1. Palette you wore on a special occasion: okay, let me think... what do I consider a special occasion? Oh, for Autistic Awareness Day when I came out this year on IG about my neurodivergent late diagnosis. I wore a very bright rainbow crease made with my Neve Cosmetics The Masterclass. It's a better version of their previous rainbow palette Gli Intensissimi but all matte with a matte true red. So far I like it a lot, even if I still prefer Neve big pans.
2. Palette you love but it is repetitive: Asgard Queen palettes. All of them. They have only one special shade which is amazing, but always two or more boring neutrals. Ad when they are boring shimmery neutrals it's even worse because I can work with a deep grey or brown if it's matte, but please don't give me a shimmery brown or bronze because guess what? I'm not going to wear that! T.T Those palettes have only 6 pans, do not waste 1/3 of the palette with that boringness.
3. Palette you got your money's worth: none. That's embarrassing and here lies the problem. I prefer single eyeshadows and those already are too much product to be panned most of the time, because I like variety. I'd say my loose powder eyeshadows from Crow and Pebble, because I keep reaching out for them. My favourites are Killing time (a pastel light blue with some grey), Impatient Champion (a deep almost brownish orange) and Sayyadina (a very bright shimmery light orange)... that brand was my gateway drug to orange makeup, before buying from Karen I never used oranges XD
4. Palette that is an amazing deal: Intensissimi from Neve, when they discontinued it was like 20 euros and I bought two to have backups. Those shadows hold very well travelling, accidents and are so big (Sugarpill singles kind of size) I can use face brushes to apply them as a face product (like Coco, a white matte as a goth foundation, or their pink eyeshadow Watermelon as a blush)
5. Quad you love and wish was a larger palette: my quad made with four rainbow shades from Makeup Geek. I wish I could have bought all of their rainbow series, incuding the black and white but sadly only a few of those rainbow mattes were silicone free (I'm sensitive to them, they give me whiteheads, not fun)
6. You love the quality of the eyeshadow but hate the packaging: Asgard Queen again. Amazing art, fully recyclable palette... but with the hand pressed formula and the cardboard thin packaging it's a disaster waiting to happen. I keep dropping them because they are super lightweight and the mattes when shatter cannot get put back together. Sometimes not even the shimmers can be repressed and that's sad T.T
7. Show your dream palette with singles: My Ve cosmetics spell book four layers palette (what? It counts as 1) with all my Neve cosmetics and Asgard Queen and Makeup Geek, with a couple of super shiny metals from Kiko,a couple of special effect holographic and multichrome from glam-shop-
8. Palettes you like to combine together. Sacred Fire from Asgard Queen with Pretty Birdie from Pretty Vulgar. I know nobody talks about that brand anymore, but the mattes are damn nice, the shimmers are good and since I removed the boring browns from it (again why??? Life is too short to have more than one brown or beige in a palette!) I found out these two work nice together, Pretty Birdie has a nice deep maroon and a deep fall orange which goes very well with the red and orange little palette from Asgard Queen.
9. Large palette you wish was smaller: I have none because usually I go Frankestein and just pull the eyeshadows I want to keep and put them in my spell book magnetic palette. I bought one palette in over 1 year and a half and it's that Masterclass rainbow palette (and I aready removed a shimmer which could contaminate my beautiful mattes)
10. Eyeshadow palette you wish had a matching face palette. None, as I said I can use my eyeshadows for the entire face: eyebrows, eyeliner, blush, contour, highlighter and in rare cases as a foundation. I'm a cosplayer and a self taught makeup lover since 2012, all I need is big panned eyeshadows and a fast hand to diffuse the situation ;)
And... I'll never be a basic chic babe. I'm 34 and still going strong with bright red, greens, blues, duochromes, multichromes, fluff it! Give me the motherflipping rainbow or give me nothing! 0.o
That Citrus Punch face palette would be fire! You could include a lime and pink duochrome highlighter to get that green in there too
I am 53 and still loving using colorful eyeshadow. Just continue doing what you love and forget about the haters, it's not their business. 😘💜

Orange you glad is one of my top 5 most used palettes in my collection. The words are rubbed off on the packaging. I bought 6 of them in a bundle and the yellow orange, and blue all have the words missing from the packaging 😂😂

Suggestion for the colourpop quad: you should try the Sunflower and the Poppy 9-pans! The prettiest packaging, and super pigmented shades (red, yellow, brown, mustard etc) - I use them all the time, but they are all mattes :D
The quad you wish was bigger and the orange you glad palette combined could almost become one of my most used palettes and that's BH AMALFI

I am so on board with everything said. I love love Natasha Denona and get her full size quints from Ipsy Charm, Zendo, Circo Loco et...❤ 😂! I love love those quads too. I own 3 from mystery boxes. Another box " Secret Stash Mystery box" contains a mega palette. One thing I hate though is the Colourpop plastic palettes they have for the 9 pan ones. I have the first and second round monnchromatic palettes out of the palette and dropped them into magnetic palettes. I choose what I want to use!

I wish Bella Beaute Bar had released the way-too-big (that’s what she said) palette in 2 - 18 pan pallets with a bundle option - top 3 rows and bottom 3 rows. I would definitely have bought that. First, both would fill a color void in my collection. And also, my makeup space isn’t big enough for me to even open the palette to use. As beautiful as it is, no point for me to buy it in this size.

Some really interesting shout-outs Angie. 😊 Is it just me but the eyeshadow formula in BH seems to have changed since it came under MUR…. Prior to that the formula was good. I agree with you on PcGrath latest stars wars collection and it is lack lustre. Whilst arguably overpriced, her eyeshadow longevity is excellent and far exceeds Colourpop, who are hit and miss in that area - I’ll be lucky if their eyeshadow palettes last 5 hours on me and I use eye primer too.
BH has not released any eyeshadows under Makeup Revolution yet. The ones that came out were produced before they were bought :)

This was such a sweet video, and I’m pondering considering myself tagged and answer those questions. Funnily enough, I need to go through my collection to get all the answers, because some got my brain in a twist. 😅
LOL regarding the PMG Star Wars packaging. I only own two PMG palettes, one of which is in cardboard packaging and I found it at TJ Maxx. It’s pretty pedestrian but I do like the mostly shimmer eyeshadow (bronzes and silver) in the palette. The other one has even worse plastic packaging and I bought it on a discount when Sephora was discontinuing it just to see what the fuss was about, as a sampler if you will. Neither has convinced me that I should spring for a Mothership palette, even on a good sale. They are fine but I don’t use them, certainly not for regular daily use and I’d much rather use the same money on indie brands like Oden’s Eye or Nomad or Blend Bunny or Kaleidos or….the list goes on and on!
Since the Citrus Punch palette has similar shades I use them as blushes too and work great 😆
That packaging question...for me, what makes me hate packaging if it's hard to use, open, or close. So I would probably declutter packaging I hate too. As for color, I've said before that neutrals are just other colors. Why should anyone limit themselves? I love the variety.

Weird but worst packaging for me is the pat mcgrath mothership palettes. It's pretty but so bulky and I hate that I can't open them all the way. I always have to use a different mirror. For the price, I can’t believe her packaging is so impractical
I love how Colourpop is one of the good bridges between indie and name brand makeup. And at such a very affordable price.
