Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicle keeps locking on its own!!

Hey everyone! If you are experiencing issues with your Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicle where the vehicle locks itself regardless if the key is inside the vehicle or not, your lock buttons inside the vehicle are malfunctioning, and you have no trouble codes in the system, then the key fob is at fault! Thank you i just bought two keys for Dodge caravan wit only panicmlock and unlock, now i know i can buy one one with power doors and other power ,all i have to do is take it apart and take those little nobs off.

Could a bad battery in the fob also cause the issue of the car doors locking themselves?

I do not think a battery issue in the fob would cause the doors to lock on their own, but you can try it because a battery is inexpensive. Most people begin by replacing the key fob battery.
