WBD doesn't have a choice but to promote Superman now. They know the numbers as in social media buzz are not there. They know the film will be lucky to break even. They'll do what they can, but the rumor was Superman won't play a big part in the DCU. A rumor Gunn sort of denied but not quite. I think now they will use Superman to set up their other projects and hoping those do better. Corenswet, like Routh, will be one and done. His career will be shorted just was Routh's - and Bosworth as well. To go with a poor reveal as they did tells me they've given up on the film.

@--vishnu113 I'm referring to Bryan Singer coming off X-2 & being picked to do Superman...Joss Whedon coming off the Avengers films picked to rewrite & direct a JL movie that was already in post...then Gunn with his fettish for little boys, coming off the GOTG films, picked to do a Superman film that he tuned down first, to do a Suicide Squad movie that TANKED! I didn't think when it comes to comic book movies I don't think a known cast matters to much Superman is a lot more beloved than Fantastic Four and the Box Office will prove it
Superman Legacy is done, it was done before Gunn announced it. When u got with a poor cast like Corensweat and Bosworth that's what's gonna happen, this will be there only showing in this film , like one person said it's a Superman Returns allover, Gunn is just a complete joke. WBD has nothing else to do but promote this the best they can and break even. I believe they already know it's gonna flop. I don't care what they do the mass general audience isn't gonna care , they just don't. There's way tooich toxicity from the start and that's not gonna change. Gunn dug his grave already , he won't be able to dig out. Good riddance to him and Peter Safran. Both are a complete joke.

I'm personally not worried about the suit. The only thing that means something is the movie itself. That's what really matters. Conversations pryor to the film drop are just conjecture.
