Shadowbringers and Endwalker have been so amazing, since it came to xbox ive been so in love with this game haha, i dont have long to play when i do get the chance so i am a cutscene skipper, its 1am and ive not long been home from a mad friday serving drinks and im finally sat with a drink of my own watch this video ive been watching for the last 2 weeks, catching up, appreciate you uploading thia, truly, i fully am the meme "im a father of 16 and i work a 27 hour day and get 7 seconds per week to play video games"
god damn cutscene work didn’t only evolve from stb to shadowbringers, but it had an entire evolution from shadowbringers to endwalker. i thought because it was an MMO, all this beautiful camera work and motion capture wouldn’t be possible. or maybe it’s because the devs are learning to transition from their ps3 limitations and learn about the new things they can do with ps4/ps5. but god damn, business dev 3 collectively really poured their heart and soul into these past two expansions… the first half of the game alone amounts to the amount of cutscenes in FFVII Remake. i thought the remake was extraordinary, but remake pales in comparison to FFXIV no doubt. unbelievable how they finished all of this in just 3 years. absolutely cannot wait to see how events unfold in the final half of the game!!! and i am really hoping that soken is one of the main composers for ffxvi bc his music just enhances the stories of ffxiv so well. especially with shb and endwalker since he assumed full power over the ffxiv soundtrack after stb. and thank you Final so much for the cutscene compilation so that i can rewatch these beautiful cutscenes!
I think it's originally from version 1.0, but it's been used in a few other cutscenes throughout A Realm Reborn. It's called "On Windy Meadows" on the soundtrack.
More progress on an item on my bucket list. I have a huge backlog of content to actually watch. Gamer problem, Video game more consistently and the backlog of anime and other stuff has grown out of control. It's a good problem to have though. Final fantasy 14 has one thing going for it that Square Enix has been failing at for awhile, I can't yet comment on FF12 but the storylines afterward have been disappointments. But this is coming from a corner who feels Square Enix's BEST story writing has been largely it's most "out there" and experimental options. During the SNES era FF6 was incredibly well written but Chrono Trigger was even more so. And During the Playstation era the BEST storyline was NOT ff7 which was a great story but in fact xenogears. Of Xenogears too it's Square Enix's best Written storyline to date- yet to be Eclipsed and their only true magnum opus. FF13= Disappointment. FF15 = Even more so.
