When I said its easy, I am comparing this Abyss to previous Abyss cycles like Cryo and Hydro Heralds in one room or the Wenut Abyss. Even most AR 60 players with their cracked artifacts and characters were struggling to full star those Abyss.

It was finally easy enough for me to 36 star the abyss for the first time thanks to your guide! And by easy enough, I mean actually doable with enough resets because I’m running a very circle impact Hyperbloom comp just because I’m hellbent motivated to use the free starters Lisa/Barbara/Collei/Traveler. You can imagine how much difference Kenki staying in the center was, and I’d say the Coppelius fight tips were relevant for my classic 4 star reverse melt 😅 Easy or hard abyss, I hope you really feel the appreciation people have for how deeply you delve into every chamber’s mechanics. Scuffed runs really bring out a lot of strategy that other guides running comps a bit too close to ideal aren’t required to figure out.
I really wish when I started out playing the abyss last year that I had your videos. Anyway, I was able to get 35*s without even trying! I just had to go back through for the last star, but I still attribute a lot of my own knowledge and determination to your videos. I noticed Kenki's attack patterns were different, so this is really useful to relearn.
As a F2p myself, i get lucky getting characters and weapons so people always thought im p2w that is until i show proof of my pulls🤣 i still use most of my 4 stars bcus idk why i feel scared showing my five stars and people immediately assumed i payed. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your tutorials. You helped me clear abyss SO MANY TIMES. And i can show my friends that you dont have to pay to even beat the game. Its like darksouls but more frustrating and how to say.. "needs more strategies" to defeat. But it isnt impossible
Thanks to your tips I easily got 36 stars this time. I struggled a little bit without a shield in 12-3 so I tried again with 1st half: raiden/kokomi/nahida/kazuha and 2nd half: hutao/yelan/xingqiu/zhongli. Most of the times I don't bother with abyss 12, even though my builds are not so bad. It's because I don't have the time/energy to figure out the best techniques and rotations, and retrying a floor more than 2 times wears out my patience.
"Now this is the WRONG WAY to fight cuz I can't see the Lady's ranged attacks at all" - Exactly, I did the same all the time! :) I did not dodge the lady's attacks at all, and it was lethal in many of my runs. However, I had Kazuha instead of Sucrose, and I just wonder if using his skill inside Bennett's burst circle is enough to swirl pyro: here, you swirl Guoba with Sucrose's skill.
THANK YOU , i was missing 1* in 12-3-2 , that boss gave me a lot of trouble , but that benny burst + guoba + sucrose setup added a lot of damage , i was swirling the wrong element ( ice), btw my first max stars clear :D
One thing you've missed to note: in 12-3-1, during the last wave, all you need to kill are the Big Boy and the Dancer Mek, there is also some immobile device that you do not need to destroy at all. I did not know that and spent half an hour (at least) trying to destroy that "cannon" (or whatever it is) first, then the two meks.
After 1.5 years this is my first ever 36 star abyss clear. I used Yae hyperbloom for the first half and a weird team of Eula-Fischl-Xiangling-Bennet (Eula because she is good at Breaking the primus shield, nuke for the eremites and grimheart allows you to tank Coppelia and break the cryo shield.
This is my first abyss clear! This abyss was definitely way easier than last abysses, where I was struggling to get 6 stars... I used xingqiu-bennett-yelan-hutao for the first half and 3rd chamber 2nd half, and beidou-nahida-kuki-alhaitham for the 2nd half and 3rd chamber 1st half.
Hello, I'm in the process of trying to pass 12th floor for the first time. I've only able to clear 11th floor at this 4.0 Abyss. For the team I was thinking: 1. Yaoyao, Xingqiu, Yae, Yelan 2. Bennet, Xiangling, Kazuha, Ayaka (she's the most damager DPS I have) Would this team viable for 12th floor? I also had Tighnari DPS, Kokomi, Rosaria, Fischl, Diona, Zhongli (still half build). Any sugestions with the team comps if I should change it? I still don't have Sacrificial or Favo Sword for Kazuha and Xingqiu, but I managed 200+ ER with 3 star sword. Any suggestions would be helpful to me
They are viable but you generally want to play Ayaka with freeze instead. Without freeze, its really hard to land all of her burst icicles onto the enemies. There are many team comps that you can play with the characters you've listed. 1. Tighnari, Yae, Zhongli and Dendro Traveler for Spread 2. Ayaka, Kokomi, Kazuha and Rosaria for Freeze 3. Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha and Xingqiu for Vape 4. Yae, Fischl, Kazuha and Yaoyao for Aggravate I can list more here but you get the idea.

I did not know that 1) Cat and Mouse strategy exists, 2) Fischl can actually help with the crab horns in 12-2-1, 3) defeating the 12-2-2 Scorpion weakens ALL Eremites, 4) you can block the Dancer Mek by standing behind the Big Boy. I can also add that Pyro Fatui in 12-3-1 only jump back in the direction of the camera angle, that made me Retry a lot of times when they jumped to the side because of my trembling fingers after several hours of fighting. Now, I know what it means to "lose sanity" trying to 36 start the abyss. However, it was my first 36-star abyss run and I feel accomplished. AND I can say that Zhongli is not a must-pull, too :)
for easy clear, I use nahida kokomi xingqiu kuki on 1st half, and raiden yelan bennett xiangling on 2nd half. This abyss is somehow easy because it allows us to use cheap & OP team comp.
Some days ago I realised the same “Cat & Mouse” strategy you used, but I was getting inconsistent results, probably because I couldn’t figure out the exact dmg windows, and overall I was clearing slower even with a similar team to yours (Fischl instead of Xingqiu, Barbara melee hydro application was extremely relevant), so I eventually gave up on this strategy for my run. Great execution!
Honestly his abyss feels like a breath of fresh air after the insane cycles at ghe tnd of sumeru patch (the wenut abyss was the last one where i got 36 stars, after that i didn't even feel like trying floor 12). No consecrated beasts, no bosses with 1 minute invulnerability phases, no insane elemental shield combo... I've been breezing yhrough it wih double hydro hyperbloom (Nahida-Yelan-XQ-Kuki) and Yoimia mono pyro(Yoi-Kazuha-XL-Bennet) and during the first cycle i did have to reset once bc I forgot the boss attack pattern and got oneshot lol, but the second cycle i made some mistakes (like not focusing the correct phantasms and letting the pyrp fatui dudes in 12-3-1 jump all over the place, etc)and still managed to 3 star without any retries🙏 I hope the Fontain abyss cycles will be less insane than Sumeru.

Honestly, I think you need to get lucky against the crab boss if youre playing hyperbloom. If it fires off its projectile which makes the floor lava near where it is located, your bloom cores will be self burgeoned and you wont be able to deal damage.
I used three different team setups, but they were quite similar in all runs. So, basically, Hyperbloom team in the first half (C0 Nahida (on DW)/C6 Xingqiu (Emblem)/C0 Alhaitham (DW, too)/C1 Kuki (EM GD build)) and Yelan National in the second half (C4 Bennett (NO, ER-HP-HB, healer only)/C5 Xiangling (Emblem)/C0 Kazuha (VV, R1Fav)/Yelan (R1 RecurveBow/Emblem). My thoughts and questions: 1) Is Crit Rate so important for Bennett? I have seen so many Bennett's builds that I am a bit lost. I thought HB circlet is better for his utility contribution, 2) I love recurve bow on Yelan for its damage and usually use this weapon in the overworld. I have a Fav Warbow, but forgot to change it. Maybe I will struggle less if I use Fav in the abyss on Yelan... 3) I envy your Xiangling build, I cannot for the life of me to get her stats right. I strongboxed a lot artifacts for Emblem, but getting a Crit Rate circlet was a nightmare. The one I got finally had no CDMG at all, at least rolls went into ER and ATK%.
Nope, crit rate isn't that important on Bennett if you're playing him as a support. But he heals a lot even with DPS build which is why many players prefer using ER Sands-Pyro Goblet-Crit Circlet on him.
the team that i used to 36 star the abyss was fav yelan lofi ayato fav xingqiu and dragon's bane zhongli for first half and pjws raiden sapwood bennett sac kazuha and fav xiangling
I 36* this abyss as an AR56... with 5 five stars. I was stuck at 33* stars until I decided to make a route or a plan then I had a minute left after each chamber after trying again. easy abyss but I'm kinda scared for the later parts of 4.x abyss
used nahida kuki kokomi yelan on first half and kazuha national second half. on my alt used alhaitham kuki xinqiu yelan and raiden bennett xiangling nahida. first time 36* with the alt account as well. this abyss is way easier than the previous ones.
if only i have that patience to conquer abyss without spend money. i thought by getting more constellation or 5 star character made abyss easy. unlucky for artifacts and crit ratio.
No offense to you but spending money to conquer Abyss has always been a stupid thing to do. If you already have the money, then why do you care so much about Abyss for the primos? Getting five star weapons and constellations will only give you 3 extra stars at most which is only 50 primos. You should only spend money for your waifus not meta.

You can literally do the quests etc without paying and no trouble at all. Just grinding. But that just means this game isn't for them. Not our fault this game got over hyped. wl8 isn't as scary as other people say it is, i'd say once you step in wl8 after for awhile you'll get used to it and the enemies won't seem so difficult anymore

An AR 45 player has no business watching this video. Come back here after you've finished doing all of the quests and exploration. You should be AR 56 when that happens.
You will lose even more damage if you spend 10 years trying to get your bursts back up. Just because you have bigger damage number on your screen doesn't mean you're dealing more damage. Having smooth rotation is always more important than having big PP number when it comes to full-starring the Abyss.

Its always funny how your Abyss showcases are legit better guides than those so called Spiral Abyss F2P guides by other Genshin CCs.
Those guides will mostly tell you what you need in each chamber like aoe, CC etc and hugging the enemy towards a wall 99% of the time.

I 36* this abyss as an AR56... with 5 five stars. I was stuck at 33* stars until I decided to make a route or a plan then I had a minute left after each chamber after trying again. easy abyss but I'm kinda scared for the later parts of 4.x abyss
I recently got yelan so I used Nahida double hydro hyperbloom in 1st half & then the same team as yours but Raiden instead of fischl in 2nd half.

used nahida kuki kokomi yelan on first half and kazuha national second half. on my alt used alhaitham kuki xinqiu yelan and raiden bennett xiangling nahida. first time 36* with the alt account as well. this abyss is way easier than the previous ones.

No offense to you but spending money to conquer Abyss has always been a stupid thing to do. If you already have the money, then why do you care so much about Abyss for the primos?
Getting five star weapons and constellations will only give you 3 extra stars at most which is only 50 primos. You should only spend money for your waifus not meta.

Fr. Those complaining are just lazy or didn't play the game properly. I've seen people say the game is very pay2win🤣 like what??? You can literally do the quests etc without paying and no trouble at all. Just grinding. But that just means this game isn't for them. Not our fault this game got over hyped. Personally I think this game is fun and chill. I can take my time and since I'm busy, I don't play this game too long and it's just enough, and as a f2p, even I can 36stars abyss many times.

wl8 isn't as scary as other people say it is, i'd say once you step in wl8 after for awhile you'll get used to it and the enemies won't seem so difficult anymore

You will lose even more damage if you spend 10 years trying to get your bursts back up.
Just because you have bigger damage number on your screen doesn't mean you're dealing more damage. Having smooth rotation is always more important than having big PP number when it comes to full-starring the Abyss.

I always try to maintain my crit rate to something like 70-80
My crit dmg might be low but watching bosses getting drained their hp is more satisfying rater than getting big numbers to me
