Philadelphia is in a red state.
@mattsathrohan288 Pennsylvania is a crucial swing state and Philadelphia is a major Democratic stronghold and has been for years! The governor is a Democrat!
A little research goes a long way in case you didn't know, and apparently you dont!
Doesn’t matter which political party is in office . It’s not going to go away .

The authorities don't care, nor are the authorities interested in fighting drug sales and consumption in broad daylight... 🤔
If they had loud speakers playing rock and roll it would be complete.
it really does seem worse,I have been watching these scenes for a long time and this is soooo bad now......
Societies final solution to drug addiction
The problem is getting worse because the people who keep doing these dr*gs don't care, and want to blame anyone but themselves. If they want a different and better life, then they must choose a different and better life. I was an addict for years, and until I decided I wanted to live a better life nothing changed. I had to want it more than anything else, and be willing to do WHATEVER IT TOOK, NO MATTER WHAT. No One else is to lame for these peoples' misery. NO ONE.
The land of freedom. It looks fun.
Takes some balls to walk thru that.
Leadership and wellbeing starts at the top and trickles down.
as a person that lives a life of recovery for some time now with a substance disorder its not by choice i have a disease just like the person struggling with diabetes has a disease all we can do as kind god fearing people is to help the one asking that is where it starts for myself i found hope and a new life in Jesus Christ with the help from my community sending prayers
God bless
Another example of a Democratically run city.
Actually looked like a much heavier police presence and a whole lot less people nodding out too. I didn’t even count a dozen fenty zombies so it actually looked better than usual.
People know drugs are bad Why why take them What are they going to do for you This is just sad Lord pls help us
It must be so depressing for the police and emergency workers to have to deal with these same situations every day. I couldn't do it.
I'm watching this from Florida reminding myself why I left there
I was born there. Went back to Jersey and PA last year from Florida up the 95.
Remembered immediately why I left for Cali.
Florida is cool but the lizards and gators....dude.
Oh, the rock climbing sucks too!

Just accept the offer for rehab. Nothing except the hint for the high is keeping people there. These are not homeless people with no hope of assistance. These people refuse offers for free rehab and housing in order to keep feeding the beast.
No one can make them chose sobriety but the offer is always there for the taking.
I have compassion, but they have options. The prison is in their desire for a high, it’s not structural.
As long as you blame the victims and not your dysfunctional system, nothing will happen.
As long as you dismiss the problems with, “God help them”, there is no prospect of improvement.
Or yes, it will get worse.
In many respects, the US has become a developing country.
A country that is developing in the wrong direction.
And the only thing you can vote for is one of two equally bad options.
How tragic.
Why isn't the city doing anything? They need to bring in the National Guard for real
The city is doing a lot more than it ever did with the new mayor! Unfortunately this a serious social issue and will take a very long time to get sorted!
If elected, the Trump administration has suggested removing the National Guard from state control, transferring it to Federal control. This would give the Trump administration an independent army of over 325,000 men!
The National Guards might be trigger happy.

They cleaned up all of Kensington today. Literally moved everyone out and cleared out all the encampment.
They have got to want the help to get clean no one can do it for them!
People are lucky healthier and stronger than usual. It's also cleaner and likely safer. The cops seem to be doing more as well. I hope the place continues to improve.
You know what's even sadder? is that this is only the beginning
It is not the sort of place you would take your date on a romantic evening stroll
How does one go from watching a mr beast video to this 😂 3.am YT always hits different
Слава богу что в России этого нет❗❗❗
you have bigger problems,
for example, i think Putin
Thank God the USA doesn’t have Russia’s problems
Can you imagine 500,000 dead people with massive wounds, on these streets? Just wondering.
No; Russia doesn't have such problems...

I'm back on the block 😅nly watching from my phone though of course!!!
You're right. No one cares. I'm one of those who don't care.
Why should I care more about the life of someone than they care about their own life?
Using up resources that they never pay into. Its a losing proposition.
I don't care. If that's what they want to do go right ahead.
Povera gente....Dio ti prego aiutali tu 😢😢❤❤
No one does care. Seriously. Not one.
...the government has billions to give to Ukraine but not millions to help the citizens.
Last I remember, Republicans decried helping these kinds of people as "sOCiaLiSt," and that such money is better used on a wall that will get tunneled under (but only if Trump is President, because God forbid a Democrat be allowed to gain social points by addressing the issue).
Что то мало их,куда все подевались?Полиция заработала?
No one cares? Well then, be someone who cares and open your door and provide them with the basics. You will be sorry at the end.
They want this to happen.
Wow the cops don’t even stop a pregnant woman. Say it’s a choice or say it’s a disease. The baby is the most innocent victim
How can people sink so low...
The drug problems balanced themselves with the decriminalization and safe injection sites. What would a conservative leader know about the health and safety of Canadians ???!!!
Pennsylvania is not actually located in Canada.

Scary when this has become as an ordinary day in US…..
You know there are actually ALOT of people who do care and want to do something but they too have a lack of resources (financially usually) to help these people. Slso these people need to search for help with a desperation, you cannot force someone help if they arent willing to get help tough lesson i had and still am learning. God Bless the homeless 🙏
I'm surprised there's not more tents
Welcome to lib city!!!
Nonsense! Every city across America is reporting an increase in drug use! Red or blue, it doesn’t matter. If it’s not on the streets then it’s underground!
No one singing, no one dancing, no one smiling. Everyone being rather selfish. "Not my problem"" attitude until it becomes their problem. What a society.
was this filmed during the big clean up? seeing Police officers every few meters and less tents n shit

We, as a human collective, are becoming more uncivilised by the moment. Where it stops nobody knows but it’s a crazy time to be observing the current reality.
Possibly, but the human species is a reached one! Each and every one of us demonstrates uncivilised behaviour on a regular basis! I don’t think that will change….

The ugly grimace of freedom:(
Why does it look like these people are frozen in time?
para el gobierno de USA,es mas importantes el negocio de la exportación de armas para financiar y promover guerras, que combatir esta miseria humana ...
Looks fun!
America is full of Love.
Beyond fixable at this point Should be asked just once do you want to be saved or do you want to stay ,,, and then just close off that area of the city, no one in and no one out .
