When you get a wheel spinning and your struggling for grip try dusting your brake pedal with your left foot. It will stop the loose wheel spinning and send drive to the wheels still in contact with the ground. loving the Vids, thank you

I have heard about doing that and I’ve tried it a couple of times but I’ve found 2 things wrong either mine doesn’t like doing that or it could be that I’m not good at doing that 🤣 probably the latter but I will keep trying when I get the chance. 👍🏻
@@rav4offroad Takes practice. A bit like rubbing your belly and your head at the same time 🤣 lol. The key is to be gentle. Too hard and you will stop moving 😁

Strata is awesome I did break my number plate off by hitting some water harder than I should and also hit a big rock whilst going through some deep water as well which felt bad even though I was only in 1st gear. Only mods on the rav is 40mm lift and bigger tyres than standard, the ones I got are 235/70/16. Triangle a/t. Quite good for cheaper all terrains. 👍🏻
@NorfolkCycleWorkshop hi mate the lift kit is from eBay tema4x4 tyres are 235/70/16 all terrain, no rubbing standard shocks which is ok for the front as the lift block sits above the top shock mount but the rear block sits directly on the spring so I should of bought longer shocks for the rear as my rear springs have sagged too much due to the rear shocks strength not being great at full extension. Lift kit is only 40mm so didn’t think it would matter but it does. 👍🏻
I don't like the new ones-- or the hybrid mess-- just more tech to cost a fortune later when it screws up-(and it WILL)..... I"m thinking of getting an 07 to a 2012 in V-6, then it would have enough power to do what's needed.
