You are doing the internet world a great favor by making tutorial for much of Yngwie's solos!!! please continue what you are doing and you are just awesome!
I agree, I can pretty much play all those early solos in my head, they are so memorable. If I could make a suggestion for a video, maybe you could do the solo to "Now is the time" from the Odyssey album? That's another one of my favourites. Cheers!@@chasingfrets
I did that lesson but I believe that's one of the videos RUclips took down on the request of Yngwie's manegement for 'copyright violation'. They removed like 10 lessons I posted so those are no longer avaiable on YT
Oh that's a shame. Yngwie's management are such a pain in the ass, the number of videos they've taken down from Cesario Filho's channel alone is criminal! @chasingfrets @@chasingfrets
Wow man speechless...the level of accuracy it's stunning dude! I'm gonna grab the guitar and start practicing...by the way to me this song has the more catchie riff of this album...anyway just you nailed it once again! 🇺🇾
@@danielleiva9456 I know what you mean man, when played fast this lick sounds more complicated then it really is, you're expecting 3-note per string but that's not the case. Yngwie has these 2 note type thrills in lots of his songs, you just have to recognized them, but mission accomplished! :)
@@chasingfrets yes the whole album of Marching out has interesting harmonic minor lines and arpeggios. Yngwie finger tapping licks are different than most guitarist because he uses different patterns.
Great one brother, if you please don't forget to play the whole solo at the end of the lesson like what u did in magic mirror without backing track so i can practice over it...thanks man ❤️
Awesome another Trilogy classic! I finally finished you don't remember and am working on magic mirror at the moment, that one is coming along quicker so I think working on the other first helped.
That's grate man, the more licks you learn it easier becomes to master the next song, a lot of Yngwies ideas fall into certain patterns and he recycles them very well in each song,so you basically get that feeling of familiarity and as a result you 'digest' them much more quickly
@@chasingfrets yes I was thinking, wait, shouldn't this take longer? Not that ill complain lol, i worked on Chris brooks neo classical speed picking strategies in which he covers malmsteens patterns and picking, so doing this patterns now it really helps both see where he actually uses the patterns and also keeps me from getting tripped up on the picking... now to jot this one down in the tab book too. 🙂
@@chasingfrets thanks very much, in the past I had some hardships in life and also frustrations that I let get to me when trying to learn this stuff, but now I'm determined to keep focused and consistent.
@@JoeS-bv3xu Damn right man! Discipline and spirit is everything! You'll master all this stuff, I have no doubt you'll achieve all your goals as a player, there'll be ups and downs but just stick to practicing. Here is a piece of advice that really helped me with picking-there is no need to pick notes very hard with those fast runs, especially with licks across strings. The harder you pick the notes there is more resistance between pick and strings and that will slow you down. When I pick notes across let's say 4 and more string I keep my rigth hand grip super light up to a point that it feel like the pick is more bouncing off the string then hitting it. So try practicing scales across let say 4 string, but picking them very lightly but fast (you should do this with amp) when you play guitar just acoustically you should hear very low intensity of picking but when you play it that way on amp it's a different story in terms of clarity, all those notes will pop up, just be mindful of accents

I second this guys comment! Only guy doing it! Thank you so much for the scales and knowledge!
I love the way you do your lessons man, really some of the best lessons I’ve seen on RUclips. And that guitar is beautiful
Thanks Brandon, I'm glad you like the lessons, cheers!
That last note in the solo gives me goosebumps every time. One of the best guitar solos ever written.
Yeah, Yngwie's classic era solos are the best, both tecnically and melodically ,very memorable stuff and this one is no exception

Yes! Thanks! If you take requests I’d love to see the solo of Iron Clad off Attack :)
I'll keep your suggestion in mind Heidi, cheers!
From the attack album my favorite is baroque and roll, and Valhalla. That one has some great tunes.
Thank you so much! I love chess at beginning of video
Hey thanks man I'm glad you like it, enjoy the lesson, cheers!
This one's a nice little lick library with most of his techniques.
Yeah, well put, it kinda is a summary of his signature licks in one song.
yes another yngwie lesson I like it love the fingering tapping lick he does, what yngwie lesson is next?
I'm working on 'Disciples from hell' from the 'Marching out' album I think you suggested, very interesting arpeggios and licks.

Nice job. Not total agree with those visual fx, tho 🤷♂️
Thanks man, cheers!
Yeah, let's not bother to transpose this to standard tuning. That would be too much trouble.
