I know I'm late to the party, but I can't emphasize enough how much help this video was. I set up a deck list with Sauron trying to run the Nazgul as a wraith tribal type deal and just couldn't get it to work. I had already bought most of the cards, so I figured I'd probably split the deck into two, one witch king deck with the nazgul, and sauron as an aristocrat. I'm so glad I found this before I made that decision; your decklist has helped me restructure into something more cohesive and I really appreciate it :)
I like the decklist! I think the one big addition I’d want is teferi’s ageless insight. The ring will tempt you a lot and that’s a lot of opportunities to draw 8 cards instead of 4
seems like a winmore addition though... you're going to draw into a win con if you have enough tempts you triggers already and I'd rather have more interaction
Nice one, been searching for a good decklist to start with and this seems to be it! Imma prolly take out the ring & orcish till im ready to splurge again
Really Cool Deck! I love that they actually printed enough cards to make a solid strategy with the ring tempts you mechanic. I might add some more aristocrats cards just in case that’s the way the game turns but over all sick deck and something I might build. 😊

I just got back in to magic and saw a few Sauron decks I wanted to do, I started getting trigger happy on sites putting cards into carts not realizing almost frikin half of them are in the commander 😵💫
I think this craft could use more focus. There are too many things going on in various directions: - Aristocrats - Voltron - Wheeling Also no counters in blue? Sauron is expensive to recast after all
It’s definitely open and could be focused in a couple of ways. I could have honestly built this deck is 2 or 3 different versions based around the different archetypes. I hope you have a great day!
i like that throne addition. does phyrexian altar really work though? you need to be able to use that mana on your opponents turns mostly call of the ring is draw five cards isnt it? cant you stack the triggers so call of the ring resolves 2nd?

i think everyone is misplaying with king... it only sacrifices one creature... it isn't dread.... which would be a better inclusion since it shuffles itself if you have to pitch it to discard

For this deck I also recommend Maskwood Nexus.
Turns Sauron into also an Army and a Wraith if they're both on the field.

At 8:06 just want to point out that soothing can’t return an orc army since it’s a token and the card stipulates non-token.

Fun deck, made some substitutions to make it work in Arena. 10/10, would kill someone with a Sauron wielding Embercleave again

what is the exact purpose of phyrexian alter? I don't believe you can sac counters on an orc army right?
maybe add Fall of Cair Andros and Blasphemous Act its a good combo lets you bored wipe and make a big army
