Drawing a proportionate cube in perspective

  • One task that a lot of artists struggle is drawing a seemingly perfect cube in perspective. Being able to draw a cube in perspective is important, because if we can master this ‘simple’ shape, then we can apply this knowledge to drawing more complicated objects.
    All too often, a cube that we draw doesn’t always look like a cube at all; they can look too wide, too thin, too narrow, and this can result in a lot of frustration for the artist.
    In this video, I propose a method that I believe will help you to draw better looking cubes in perspective.
