    I've bought one of the last ever produced Wehrle "Three in one" in the early nineties directly from the manufacturer in Furtwangen, Germany. I'm very glad I got one. It is still in like new condition. Thank you for showing is this beautiful clock.

      Thank you! You're welcome. The story about how I got mine is very funny 😅. I follow a nearby antique shop on Facebook and one day they showed some alarm clocks for sale, also this one was in that photo. But that day was a big sale-day and there were a lot of people. When I came into the store I saw the clock and just when I could take it, a guy in front of me took it. I asked the man if I could have it because I was looking everywhere for it. The guy looked 10 seconds at the alarm clock an simply gave it to me 🤣

    it's a really interesting and curious piece! it will be curious to make a full video, including winding, setting, tiching etc.

      It's a rare one. I think Wehrle is the only brand who made an alarm clock with striking mechanism.

    I have the same watch but it's needles and numbers are kind of rusted and i am very scared that it is radioactive do you know if it is radium?

    • @Timemaster-88
      @Timemaster-88  3 года назад

      Hi, I don't think it has radium paint because they stopped using radium after the 50's and the alarm clock is from the 60's

    • @AirborneJoban
      @AirborneJoban 3 года назад

      @@Timemaster-88 thank you very much for the reply! I hope it is not radium radioactive because they say when it's rusted (if it's radium) it emits Alpha particles so i am very afraid, the radiation ( if there is) will he very low no damage but alpha is very scary it's never gonna get out! So until i find more sources I won't touch it back and clean it up

    • @Timemaster-88
      @Timemaster-88  3 года назад

      No problem, the only test I know is that if it glows very long it's radium (but it's not that accurate 😅). The other way is with a Geiger-meter, that detects radioactive radiation, but it's not easy to get one.

      @@Timemaster-88 oh! I'll try, another video said (old clocks like ours) if it's radium it'll make the paint yellow around it but now we have black background so I can't see yellow if it was white it could be seen, I don't have dosimeter it's atleast 50$ something lol

    I have one but it only runs for a few seconds and then it stops. If i shake it around a little it runs again for less than a minute. Any help on how to fix the issue?
    I haven't opened it yet because i wouldn't know what to fix.

    • @Timemaster-88
      @Timemaster-88  10 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure, but it can be a mix of a dirty movement, worn out pivots or pivot holes and a worn out spring. I think you have to clean it and try to replace the mainspring and to replace the pivot holes if they're worn out too. But once again, I'm not sure if that's the solution for your clock.

  • @rajapandiyanlakshmikanthan3077

    This clock should be winded daily?
    Or weekly winding ?

    • @Timemaster-88
      @Timemaster-88  Год назад

      This clock needs to be winded daily. Even the hour strike.

    Is the case made of cast iron? Is it as heavy as it looks?

    • @Timemaster-88
      @Timemaster-88  3 года назад

      I'm not sure, it could be steel. But it's indeed kinda heavy (and big) for an alarm clock. But that's due to the unusual striking mechanism.

    What type of lume does It use? Radium?

    • @Timemaster-88
      @Timemaster-88  3 года назад

      I'm not sure, but I don't think it uses radium. I have a blacklight and radium glows harder and glows longer than other clocks. I think it uses Luminova, but for being 100% sure I need a Geiger-meter, but I don't have one.
