Samartaj continues to be a fun place to take in, and has one of the best shopkeepers in the campaigns so far since the centaur with his cloned harengons (though Be Your Own Manager is a close runner up). Andulas's chat with the strange blind Leonin was also very interesting, "I don't think they even believe in death" HMMMM. That phrase reminds me a bit of this race of Au Ra (dragon-like people) in Final Fantasy 14 who also live out on a plain, and believe that every child born in their tribe is a reincarnation of a previous elder who died. So the second they are born they are training these children to be exactly like the person they believe they now are. I guess we'll see if Andulas decides to ask him anymore questions (for the audience's sake lol). Also seeing Lilac questioning Kihran while the crew listens intentionally to see if this child will get him to finally slip something was wonderful. Also nice job on the ending cliffhangers for the last couple of episodes, all have left me with similar reactions to the cast.
I've thoroughly enjoyed living in Samartaj the last few sessions, and so glad you're enjoying it as well! While Barrac is a great NPC, Taj is absolutely my favorite, and Andulas is just too nice to pry, but we'll see if that blind lionen continues to push 😉
