"Pilestredet" is one of the longest streets in Oslo's city center and stretches across the districts of "St. Hanshaugen" and "Frogner". The street was named "Pilestredet" around 1820, as there were many willow trees along the road.
"Sentrum" (meaning city center), is located on the southeast side of Oslo near the inner Oslofjord. The district is dominated by high rises like \'Postgirobygget" and "The Plaza". Oslo's "Central Station" is located on the eastern side of the borough. City Center (Sentrum) consists of "Bjørvika" which has a history as Oslo's main harbor. The area is now being rebuilt with modern high rises consisting of the "Barcode" as well as several student apartments, schools, and museums.
