I'm here because he makes really good music, not because he combines other people's music well, if that makes sense. realistically, tastes differ, so we might have trouble picking an ultimate best without talking to lots of people about what their tastes are. Gareth is fine at djing but his transitions aren't always perfect, and I'm mediocre at best at DJing so they are definitely better than I'd do, but Gareth is my absolute hero in terms of sound design and composition. metropolis is one of my favorite songs ever, I love the pluck sound so much
This set got me through the darkest days of covid. The lockdowns, the isolation, not knowing what was going to happen or how it would all turn out or when it would come to an end and life could get back to something resembling normal again. And it’s gotten me through some tough times and some tough days since then, including today. It’s an incredible set. A beautiful set with amazing songs. End of Days still gets me every single time I listen to it. I’ll forever be grateful to Gareth for doing this. He’s an incredible DJ, an incredible artist, and by all accounts an awesome human being. God bless you Gareth. Thank you for helping myself and I’m sure many others navigate the good times and the bad with your music. Never change man. I hope you keep making beautiful music for yourself and also to hopefully share with us for as long as you can

He just keeps getting better. . .from his oldest fan - in both senses of the word - been around since Georgio in the 70's - Electric for Life has a real meaning for me. Mark in San Diego

Sorry for a second post, but just listened again - Far From Home is etherial!. . .from 100 Reasons, and always my "travel song" - in the orgininal, there is background noise from Heathrow - I fly the SAN to LHR flight about three times a year, so always gets me in the mood for London - I usually sit behind the cockpit on 747, and shared it with one of the pilots before takeoff - I think he went out and downloaded the song. . .he loved it also.
