Not Xmas decorations but Christmas. Christ being the key word

@ The abbreviation Xmas for Christmas dates from the mid 16th century. The X is the Greek letter chi, the initial letter in the word Χριστός ( Chrīstos ) “Christ.”

This parable hit me afresh a few months back - I'd kind of envisaged the guy weighing up his options, and on balance buying the field, but with a slight reluctance or grudging sense of inconvenience, but I guess I'd been projecting my own perspective onto the guy in the story.
