With all the controversy alleging that StockX is selling replica pairs of the Travis Scott Jordan 1, I decided to search for the best replica and compare it to the retail pair that I one off the SNKRS app. In my initial search, I was overwhelmed with how many replica sites there were when I searched on Google. I had to do some research and reach out to some people familiar with replicas to get the best one available. The transaction was a bit sketchy but eventually, they did arrive. When they arrived, I was shocked at how similar they are to my retail pair from Nike. It is scary how close they are to the retail pair.

Honestly, this is the shoe where it’s best to buy fakes instead of the over the top resell value. If you didn’t hit on it for retail, it’s not worth paying over a grand for a shoe that has so much QC issues.

It’s my understanding these “UA” pairs are made in China, in the same factories the authentic pairs are made. These replicas look so good it’s almost impossible to tell unless you have both pairs right in front of you and even then it’s not 100% accurate. It’s a bummer because I missed out on SNKRS drop and I don’t trust even Goat or StockX. I never buy replicas or fake but with these reselling for over $1K I don’t blame anyone picking up a UA pair for $160 and look 99.99 % authentic.
I’ve made my decision and will buy the UA pair that is slightly similar, better, and cheaper than the real pair. And no, I do not plan on reselling these, and nor do I care about the value, I just want a pair to wear. I really don’t care if people say I got “scammed” for buying a fake lol

Not really sure how one can be labeled "fake" or "real" when they are both made in China. The materials are the same. As shoe collectors we're being taken for a ride by Nike and the resellers by paying enormous prices for a shoe that is really worth no more that $75 bucks. The technology and the craftsmanship is all glamorized, that's why you see so many flaws in what is seen as the "real" pair.

Corrosion ALL Nike shoes are made in China. Go grab a few pair and check the size|serial number tag. The only difference is Nike’s model is designed in the US then given to a production facility (sweat shop) in China. The replica is made in China and doesn’t go through a QA process. Keep telling yourself otherwise, believe what you want.
The cactus jack logo on the tongue more specifically The 3 hash marks on the top of the logo. The one on the far right closest to the edge corner of the tongue is touching or close to touching on the fake pair. On the real there is a considerable gap. That could definitely vary of course. Other than that and the sole it’s crazy how similar they are.
I highly recommend one UA seller. To be honest, I was shocked by their craft. I have bought 5 pairs including Yeezy 350 blakc reflective and TSxAJ 1 highs and lows. Every one is great, perfect. I can share their ins if you want.

The cuts on the fake pair cleaner ....Damn that hit hard!.... What I noticed though is on the edges of the real pair, you actual see the fibers of the suede, unlike the fake pair, it's way too clean as if the suede is synthetic.

I think fakes do get through but not as much as people think. They do not do it intentionally, it's just sometimes the verifier messes up. I do know that stockx, goat, flight club make their verifiers go through training and my sister has a friend who works at flight club and he said its really hard and most people do not pass it

Bro, god VID. Replicas are getting too good now. I noticed that you didn’t mention the stamp on the lid. It’s a camouflaged red stamp on the inside of the lid of the legit pairs. A lot of people mention stitching but you are right to suggest that they not go by that as it looks to be more of an issue of swoosh placement that causes the gaps. Look at the tip of the backwards swoosh and how it lines up with the brown piece on the fakes as opposed to how the swoosh is more in the middle of the black liner on the real pair. I use to work at a NIKE plant in Memphis and there are so many factory flaws on shoes. Please don’t think that NIKE is not going to pass a shoe because of stitching. I bet if you look at any Jordan 1 in your collection and compare to other Jordan 1’s, I bet you find stitching flaws. I hit for my pair on the SNKRS app and my only gripe is that the Pink and Sail lace bags were detached from the shoe and were just placed inside the box.

These shoes released 3 times from 3 different outlets the pair I got from Travis Scotts website is different from the pair I got from SNKRS the pair I got from Travis Scott's website didn't have the white stitching inside the stash spot

There’s no way that guy is telling the truth. Stockx banned me for flaking on multiple deals AND I had 4 pairs that failed authentication. Only 1 pair should’ve failed. Regardless, if you have 12 pairs that failed authentication they will flag you without a doubt , especially if they failed for being fakes and they see it’s the same model shoe 12 times. It’s bs !!!

I've been studying the UA of this shoe since then and I have to tell you what I've learned is that the QC from Nike on this shoe is so bad that it's no wonder StockX had trouble. I know where you got this fake from. It's the only place with the actual nubuck used on the retail. You also accidentally slipped up...haha. There is one thing you missed on the tongue though and for me it's almost a deal breaker. Look at the stitching on it. On the front of the tongue there's a stitch at the very top, about 1/4" from the top where the white tongue meets the black around the tongue. Then there's another stitch below it about a 1/3 of the way down the cactus jack tag. And then a 3rd stitch. The gap between the 2nd and 3rd stitch looks noticeably bigger on the retail than that ua pair. Any ua pair actually. Is it a call out? Not sure. I'm only going off pics and videos though. Can you verify that with maybe a measurement? With everything else being as good or better than retail probably not. As for the "biggest difference", I'd agree. When you're going in for a purchase check the bottom. But that's on a DS pair. Anything worn a few times you won't be able to tell the difference..lol

The tongue on the real has more of a shape to it and the way the cactus jack logo is sewn on is smoother than the fakes. Unbelievable fakes though
