  • @claus1225

    i actually think it's unfair that these smaller courts have no hawkeye. Regardless the ball was in or out, Janowicz should have the right the challenge on this important point in the tiebreaker.

    • @Mel1lvar
      @Mel1lvar 10 лет назад +10

      see that's why people have argued against hawkeye: because it creates a climate where people feel cheated unless there's electronic judging, how can an itf, or a small atp/wta tournament afford hawk eye on all their courts, ticket prices would skyrocket.
      It is the Australian open after all, with a full retinue of line judges, Janowicz should deal and kerb his attitude.

    • @claus1225
      @claus1225 10 лет назад +22

      i really dont think you need line judges. just make everything electronic.

    • @pazzlepozzle4403
      @pazzlepozzle4403 9 лет назад +8

      It might be unfair, but if the players know that there is no hawkeye, then they should play accordingly and not rely on electronic judging. Jerzey should have hit the ball back just in case. Especially on such an important point. It's stupid to not even go for it just because it's close to the line.

    • @thebigsquirrel50
      @thebigsquirrel50 8 лет назад +9

      if one court has hawkeye then all courts should (like Indian wells) otherwise, no hawkeye. now isn't that fair?

    • @TheCricketer15

      +Sharper Shooter Nah that was definitely out. It was riding the line, but the landing point is at least an inch away from the lines in the corner of the court (of both lines). Clearly out, but it was hard to tell cause it was riding the line the whole way there.

    • @SleepyRickyC92

      I can't say it was clearly out. It was very close to the line and may have touched the line by millimeters. Now he does have a right to be angry but his behaviour certainly could have been better.

    He certainly has the weapons, unbelievable first and second serve, really powerful on both wings, good touch at the net. He just has to become more consistent. If he does, I believe he can break into the top 10 or 5 pretty soon. He has the game to upset the big 4. A Berdych-like player I believe.

    So hard to judge the far end of the court from this little screen vantage. The ball is definitely spinning back into the court and I think from its bounce it appears to hit one of the lines, which line I'm just not sure. I think I'm leaning towards it being out.
    Funny reaction regardless. Sometimes tennis seems like such a stressful sport.

    Zachowanie Jerzego w pełni uzasadnione no bo ile można... Pani sędzia była maksymalnie niesprawiedliwa i stronnicza. Co prawda wybuchł trochę za bardzo ale jest młody, porywczy przez co można mu to wybaczyć. To nie jego a sędzi zachowanie jest niesportowe. Kto nie widział tego meczu niech nie ocenia go na podstawie tego kawałka.
    Wiele sportowych stacji po części zrozumiało jego wybuch złości. Oczywiście stado cebulaków nie, bo to przecież wstyd dla i tak wyśmiewanego kraju... Nawet nie wiecie ile on dla nas robi.
    Tak, tak to tenis... Kulturalny i elegancki sport ale są granice... Zachowanie Jurka jest moim zdaniem adekwatne do sytuacji, a nietakt wykazała pani sędziująca, nie on. A jak chcecie ponarzekać na brak wyczucia to sobie pooglądajcie mecze Fabio Fogniniego lub Victorii Azarenki tam znajdziecie czego szukacie.

    Fortunately he will be a top 10 player i the coming years. He's a diabolical nightmare, a beast with great finesse and intensity. The top ten needs a player like this. I get so hyped when he pummels down aces and the opponent looks in despair. Sport is about WINNING, remember that. Doesn't matter if he doesn't float around the court with grace like federer. Not every player will be like that. You just need to accept it.
