What an informative video. Thank you so much. I inherited a Kubota-swapped Jeep when my best friend passed away. He had purchased many parts for the setup. One of them was a cool Pick up tube. I know now what need to be done. I appreciate you sharing your experience. Cheers!
I was actually just doing this today funny enough, I have a 1998 k2500 Chevy I'm Cummins swapping. But the diesel sending unit does not fit on my tank. My factory sending unit is made of plastic and the diesel one is metal like what's shown in your video but the ring on the metal sending unit is so small for the factory gas tank. I don't know if it's all gmt400 gas trucks but mine is a 1998 crew cab short box k2500.
So In my dodge i haves 26 falling diesel tank/ the 33 gallons gas is almost identical. Same strap locations, holes. Can I theoretically take the internals of my diesel tank and swap it in the gas tank?
