This vehicle will be my FIRST sports type car that I will buy in the future, I will save up for it 💵💲
Awesome!
If I can get one, I don’t see why you can’t
I believe in you
32k just work at McDonald in half a year you’ll be able to buy it
It's definitely a vehicle worth going into debt for.
I have one 2019 for sale in california
Does sound very good. Well done. Love a titanium exhaust
Thank you
2019 type R - Greddy HG with RV6 catted downpipe, get compliments on the sound all the time
Exhaust in this vid makes the type R sound like an Impreza
wow! i ordered an exhaust from you guys 5 months ago, and you guys wont even give me an update. Ive called 5 times and every time you guys say youll ship it... What is going on?
U paid? No way
That titanium exhaust system is hot looks awesome sounds awesome too
I love it. Sounds just like stock but a little louder. Nothing extra. 👍
We love it too, just a good amount of loud is always best! Thank you for watching!
my dream car tbh
I got a 2017 civic type r sence brand new now has 62.000 miles and I pay it off in 2 years pay $46.000 !and still drives amazing great buy
Awesome to hear that your Type-R is still performing well, if you need help on your build - feel free to reach out to us at sales@vividracing.com!
@@vivid_racing thanks I will
definitely sounds better than most aftermarket exhausts.. but still abit raspy
5:11 What it says in the Thumbnail, thank me later.
In my teens i used to watch vivid TV. They werent doing cars back then. Nothings changed though. Good stuff.
Had my vivid titanium exhaust installed today. It is soooooo sweet.
Lets gooooooo
this pipe sounds so good I don't listen to music in my car anymore, just the exhaust note. thanks for such a quality product, it changed the entire character of my car for the better.@@vivid_racing
❤
5:40 first time I’ve heard the vtec on an 10th gen
Barely
Didn’t sound much different open and closed.
0:31 This guy is moving like he's straight outta GTA San Andreas
I REALLY like this exhaust. How bad is the drone with a catted downpipe?
The drone was not really existent!
Was sup Cam! Lol
I bought one Cam. Putting it on today.
@@NvSrAgE679how is it?
@@billybob765 I love it. I wouldn’t change it
pick up mine for Christmas
Awesome, I'm happy for you!
My dream car
Now you made me want a type R now. Like I need it😆
GET IT
Didn’t realize a stock type r is making only 260whp for some reason I was expecting somewhere around 270-280. Haven’t lined up with a type r but I guess I’d lay the smack down on one of them with my si pretty easily 🤨
Our dyno reads a bit low, so a stock Type R would typically make around 270-280whp in rather good conditions. 👍
lmfao - a basic tune on an R will smack up an Si unless its got an upgraded turbo and FBO/flex fuel - full fbo e50 R is 430-450whp and demolishes every Si on the planet unless its got motec/full race turbo setup/full e85 fuel system which only a handful on earth do.
@@TheFK8Life bull**** walks 🚶♂️
@@TheFK8Life a kraftwerks supercharger rotrex kit with just FBO nets 400 to 440 whp on an 8th gen Si.
Full turbo setup with lower compression pistons to go high on the boost will net you 600 plus whp on a stock k20z3 block
Hell if you build the cylinder head to rev to 9000 and take advantage of the rotrex, you could see close to 500whp with e85. Insane amt of money though.
@@Kdubz_Auto_HVAC We are talking about 10th gen Sis and my R makes 434/417 stock turbo - Ill run a rotrex 8th gen anytime - going fuel system and p600 drop in this week - shooting for 520/490 on e45
Ive owned my FA5 for 11 years and my 10th Si for 4 years before buying my R
I know these cars first hand - my R makes mlre than 400ftlbs at 4k rpm - let me know hoe much torque a rotrex Si is making at 4k lol
Do you have weight? I’m probably gonna pick one up next year. I’ve been looking for a perfect mix of loud enough to have balls but not to loud to piss off neighbors. But having an active is the best of both worlds?
Will get that added to the product description this week!
This is far from the best sounding exhaust..IMO it probably places somewhere around the bottom. There are so many better options out there.
I have a Veloster N and it sounds exactly like this with my stock exaust, opened valves lool. It"s my first time watching Type R exaust sound vid too RIP, i feel ya.
What would you recommend for a deep sounding exhaust with minimal drone when paired with a downpipe
@@drewstopher6696 martelius, without a doubt
This honda civic type r is for me but when i grow as a grown-up it should blue fire its own-nitro!
No, that doesn't even sounds near the best sounding civic type-r. The best exhaust setup for a civic type-r fk8 is Js Racing 70RS SUS with rv6 front pipe.
There talking about for government and public ear
Is he not running a catalytic converter? Isn’t that bad or som?
Stock down pipes with cats :)
Just ordered mine and a PRL catted down pipe.
Thank you!
Where to buy this? Tia
The closed valve… is making me feel things
Similarly, back in the 60's colored guys would walk around with a blaring, 3 ft. long boom box on their shoulder.
This is what it should’ve come from the factory
What’s the exhaust brand
This is our own VR Performance Exhaust system! The link is in the bio, thanks for watching!
That's what the type r should sound like straight from the factory. Still not quite as good as stock veloster n but still sounds good.
How embarrassing comparing a Veloster to a anything type R
@@justpalms9978 I know it's embarrassing that the type r costs so much more for not much performance compared to veloster n lol
@@slimv3.162 Velocesters are slow - not even close to an Rs potential - its why they stopped making them
Don't have a honda but definitely looks super sick!
I wish You guys make a new exhaust for non sport hatchback
Js racing FTW
according to the video, it sounds very similar to my HKS legamax.
I would just get one big 4 inch exhaust and throw it on there
Wish i could get this for my 2021 ex hatch
4:17 for the aftermarket exhaust startup
Chef's kiss right there!
I'm not sure 15hp is worth what that exhaust will cost you. I imagine it's wildly expensive. You'd be better off throwing a turbski on it. Imo.
That’s a rly nice like ‘spirited’ noise
very cool!
I want this🙌🙌
What should I do if I buy this in Japan?
Hello, our guys here would love to help you out, feel free to email us at sales@vividracing.com!
Beautiful car 💞
It’s alright. I expected a better sound. Sorta feels late to the game tbh but I am glad that this a solution for some people
It’s not even late to the game…car is still fairly new especially to the states…car has been hard to crack too not a lot of ppl pushing much bc the after market is so limited on these FK8s and this might be my set up for my type r too
But nothing comes close to the AWE or rampage exhaust imo
@@YTkingcherry Milltek Non Resonated is better then both of those.
@yt 1234 why so
honda's don't sound good?
I’ve been 1st on the waiting list for 8 months. Good luck on yours. Lmao.
Man that things quiet
Why aren’t the tips flush can you push the middle one in further to flush everything like the stock look or is it going to have this protruding look like that? Just looks od to me?
You can make them flush. We did it that way.
Thought I heard a lil VTEC around 5:44?
Does it have drone cancel technology? It can sound great but drone is horrible, really annoying at highway speeds
Does this exhaust require or need a tune?
Wao amazing sounds 😍 👌 🙌
We agree as well, thank you for watching Ricardo!
Plan on getting the 2023 Type R. That exhaust sounds awesome..is the downpipe stock?
Get your car yet
@TP no..they want to mark it up 15-25k around here....if it doesn't come soon I will buy something different..thinking Camaro SS would be more fun anyway
So yeah I bought a 2023 SS 1Le instead..Jordan getting to greedy with the Type R anyway
Hy guys,
Do you know is this exhaust is good for the EU.
Cause in belgium al modified stuf needs to be eu regulated.
Was this video stock cat, hi-flo or catless? I have the AWE system which is excellent till you go hi-flo or catless. Then it's ridiculous. I have the RV6 hi-flo DP and it was intolerable. I bought the new mid resonator section and it works great, but it kills ground clearance. I'm dropped an inch on Swift Spec R's and I have less than 2" clearance under the huge resonator. Hits everything. This system is all up under the car where it belongs, which I love. But, wondering if it'll become super rowdy with an aftermarket DP.
per EPA guidance, we gotta keep It catted on street cars. It sounds like we need to revise your setup a bit though, so let us know when!
@@vivid_racing I can't wait, but the exhaust will have to. I have everything I need from a major power jump except the upgraded turbo. At the low end, that's around $2K, at the high end, around $2600. One of those has to come before a $3K exhaust.
I did have to remove that ridiculous front resonator that I was foolish enough to purchase from AWE, just to get some ground clearance, so I'm back to extra rowdy+mega drone. But at least it's not stock. If you guys ever do have a customer that tests that exhaust with an aftermarket DP, I would be very interested to hear impressions, particularly about drone.
A lot of nice exhaust systems have come out for the type r , the real problem is the DRONE
Our custom VR Performance Exhaust system has little to no drone, it's hard to capture that aspect of the audio through a video! Thanks for watching.
what wheel do you use? they look very clean ! what's the size?
Hi David! These are the stock FK8 Type R wheels!
Sound like its under water with the rev.. The Greedy & the HKS sound way sweeter..
Are the mufflers titanium or stainless steel? I know the piping is titanium. The Tomei type D had stainless mufflers but claimed it was full titanium.
Full titanium. Click link in bio to see photos.
I've seen so many stock type R's In my home town
Some people wanna keep it as OEM as possible
Sound good but i love more my remus sound...
Heads up brothers, please don't rest your hand on the shifter as it's not a hand rest, think about it
I rather piss my neighbors off that's what it's all about. I would love a type r but I'm very happy with my focus rs.
Triggered by him resting his hand on the gear..
Can that work for the 2019 Honda Civic?
Different fitment but we have this one www.vividracing.com/agency-power-exhaust-system-honda-civic-sedan-15l-turbo-p-152429065.html
Dont hear alot of difference outside valves opened or closed
Hey Arjan, with the valves closed there are a lot fewer burbles, and is a few decibels quieter than open! Also - videos will never do a car exhaust sound justice, stay tuned for future Type-R content!
Is it stock downpipe in this video? Thanks
Been a while…. But I believe yes.
Can this exhaust go well with the normal Honda Civic Hatchback sport???
No it won’t but we have others on our site
@@vivid_racing thank you for the support
It doesn't sound "insane" but it does sound better than the stupid stock exhaust. Idk, the k20c1 engine doesn't produce a nice note like other engines.
Bro there's so much shit going on in the back of those cars, it looks like optimus prime and I hate it. This car just asking to get stopped. LOL
🤣 They're backend definitely looks
futuristic
tbh sounds the same when it’s open or closed
I think the AWE Touring exhaust sounds better to me 🤷♂️
Hey Janago, to each their own, we respect everyone's opinion! Thank you for watching!
Take that muffler off and have the straight through pipe
We may try that in a future video, stay tuned! Thank you for watching.
Sounds and looks great! How much lighter is it than stock?
98#
I have the AFE power Takeda. Only other exhaust I'll get when the time comes is 27won. Theirs is the "ONLY" full 3in exhaust.
Not true, Milltek Non Resonated is a full 3 inch and sounds way better then 27won.
I'm sure these newer civics are great but theirs nothing special about how they sound anymore. You used to know a Honda was coming from a mile away, now it just sounds like any old 2L, Golf R you name it.
I always know when a Subaru WRX or STI is coming as they have a very unique sound.
Sounds decent (i guess) but definitely doesn’t need a valve key. Its seriously not that loud at all. My 2007 Mitsubishi eclipse muffler delete was louder than that. 😂😂😂😂
What's price for it? And how can I get it?
Link in description
How come no one made this exhaust or anything like for the Honda Civic Si? Why?
Tons of cool options here www.vividracing.com/index.php?keywords=honda+civic+si+exhaust
@@vivid_racing Thank you for the info.
cant hear difference between open and closed
I’d rather pay 100$ and get a muffler delete and use those 3k left over to modify the engine.
Youll still need an exhaust once you want over 400whp so no matter what youll need a 3" exhaust of some sort unless you want to stay under 400whp - even some of these exhausts are bottlenecks as you go 600+whp - as much as 50whp in some cases
Piping size and flow matter
Curious to hear it on a FBO catless type R🤔
I listened to a bunch while I was researching for my Type R and I truly think they sound better with a catted pipe
Catless is way to loud
Don't think this would sound too good Catless. Most exhausts don't, catted is the way to go.
What exhaust is that? Sound nice
VR Performance. Link in description!
Didn’t see the dyno graphs clearly even at 4k.
Hi dan
I want one
HIt the link in description!
It lacks a little bass sound ...
Not gna hate with all due respect......... But ive seen and heard honda eg.. H22 vtec... That sound wayyyyyy betr.. Like i said.. Just my opinion.. From South Africa
Hold the steering wheel .
add downpipe
I rather get tomei exhaust it's cheaper and full titanium and wider diameter
Is the guy driving the dude from Dustrunners Automotive channel?
Bryce use to work here
Sounds about the same to me
It doesn't even crackle..
HONDA ❤️🇯🇵❤️
Duu Ma
Sounds like just like any 4
Not impressed
Thank you for your view
Ok
👍
not to loud
Will you be able to pass emissions tho👀
Catback only so no issues!
