You have a good voice, but you dont connect with the song. You dont have that desperation that someone in love has, which John presents in his version. Youre too reserved for this song, dial it up a notch, get emotional, this is a song to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, not just some random person.

I don't know anything about it at all, but to me it sounds like the production makes your voice sound kind of harsh sometimes. I know your voice isn't harsh at all, and that's why I like it! Really enjoyed when listened to Tiffany Alvord in concert when she came to Seattle, WA with Boyce Avenue, but there are just some songs this young lady can’t sing and this is one of them. She attempted the song “I see Fire” too by Ed Sheeran and that wasn’t for her either. Really would like to see Tiffany write her own songs and stop doing covers to song already out there; she’s so much potential and feel she’s wasting her efforts on songs like this. She just doesn’t have the maturity for the emotional range of some songs; obviously she’s still much too young. Of course, this is my opinion.

starrtraveler29 I do think she puts emotions into the song. But, her raspy voice grates against the tender sounding music. End result, the song doesn't have the emotional punch it could have had. So, I agree with drake that this song the way it was arranged does not suit Tiffany's voice. I think it has less to do with "maturity" and more to do with voice/singing style.
Every time I hear this song on the radio I turn the station because it's been so overplayed. If I heard THIS version on the radio i'd listen to it again and again. Nice job. Also check out my covers and subscribe if you like.
Not saying Tiffany isn't a fantastic singer (she is - I'm jealous) but I don't like the way she pronounces 'you' or words with an 'ooh' sound now. I don't know why, it just bugs me! I feel like she used to pronounce them differently but changed recently!
James Samusxy not trying to sound mean but after my time in choir with an amazing teacher it sound to me like shes breathy because thats too low in her range, on the higher parts of this song its sounds a bit better plus she gets raspy in the lower parts ehich i another sign that this is a bit too low for her. I would love to here it in a higher range than in this video, i bet it would sound wau better, shes a good singer but ive heard better but they have had years of experience.

And just checked, yup---she even has a million more following than the real guy does...nobody else has anything close to that.....sad thing is, what a pathetic thing to hate on, who cares, it's friggin' online karaoke ya. Not demeaning anyone, b/c most of ya'll are 10x better than the original artists in opinion--& i really mean that. But, It's clearly jealousy (b/c there are a few who are terrible at this rendition & they Still get compliments b/c of the 'nice factor'). Seems like a lot of narcissists in the house...Anyway, all of yous are pretty good, keep it up--but don't worry about someone's counts... peace.

Really enjoyed when listened to Tiffany Alvord in concert when she came to Seattle, WA with Boyce Avenue, but there are just some songs this young lady can’t sing and this is one of them. She attempted the song “I see Fire” too by Ed Sheeran and that wasn’t for her either. Really would like to see Tiffany write her own songs and stop doing covers to song already out there; she’s so much potential and feel she’s wasting her efforts on songs like this. She just doesn’t have the maturity for the emotional range of some songs; obviously she’s still much too young. Of course, this is my opinion.

Not saying Tiffany isn't a fantastic singer (she is - I'm jealous) but I don't like the way she pronounces 'you' or words with an 'ooh' sound now. I don't know why, it just bugs me! I feel like she used to pronounce them differently but changed recently!
