I like Friend. She is so sweet. There is absolutely no reason to hate a person just cuz they are happy and bubbly. She lost her parents too, yet she is always trying to make others happy. Such a sweet soul.

JI Ioannidis JI Ioannidis I get what you mean. There's always a time and place for when to act super cheery. But also, she takes care of him too. When he kept looking at his phone, she insisted that he call the person he needs. And now she's returning the favor and also making sure he's eating. People are multi-dimensional. It's ok if you don't vibe with them, but that doesn't make them a bad or mean person.
I guarantee you, if she was a male character, people would be in love with her. But because she's a girl and they already ship Porsche with another character, suddenly the way she's acting is "annoying."

While I think that Porsche should have consulted with Emma regarding his plans and goals if he intended to have a future with her, I also think it's important for Emma to support Porsche in whatever his passion is. It's also wrong of Emma to put all the weight on Porsche's shoulders in trying to make an effort. She could have made more of an effort as well, rather than just demanding his presence and screaming at him on the phone.
Exactly. My only really issue with Porsche is the whole birthday thing! How you forget your significant other's bday! I dont care how busy you are, you dont message them "happy birthday" when their bday is basically already over. You set an alarm at a specific time if you have to but you make sure you CALL THEM DURING THE DAY!!! But yes they BOTH need to make an effort in this long distance relationship
while i agree with the Emma should support Porsche mindset, it sucks because it’s supposed to be a two way street. How is it fair she gives up her comfort for him but he can’t give up his for her? the smart thing relationship wise was to choose an internship in Bangkok for the experience and the ability to BUILD THEIR RELATIONSHIP better especially since it just started out. Then when it’s stronger he could have gone to the countryside. if he really wanted and internship for experience than bangkok should have been fine. but he choose the countryside cuz it needs more vets meaning deep down he wants or needs to be needed by the animals. he choose that need over the needs of the girl he’s “in love with.”
We have to remember she just started to trust him again not too long ago, after the whole Ping incident. Character developmentally speaking Emma most likely would still be jealous and insecure if she’s not around him, even if she knew Ping meant nothing. And honestly she isn’t wrong. look at Friend being extra friendly with Porsche. out of context it looks bad. He isn’t a bad guy at all, he’s just making poor decisions.

emma's the one with the car. it doesn't make sense for porsche to be the only one putting in effort to see her if that's their case. also, a relationship is a two way street. you can't expect only one person to be doing all the work. it's uncomfortable and really freaking annoying. imagine being in the same relationship for years and you're the only one who takes the other person out on dates and gives the attention. makes no sense- i'd drop them flat.

I'm watching this again, and I still don't understand why Porsche and Emma can't communicate. If they would take time and talk and get a better understanding of what their busy with or what they're doing things wouldn't be so twisted. If Emma wants to see Porsche then she can go see him. She has to understand he is busy, and he has to understand he needs to make time for her too.
Well put. When people feel hurt, they tend to distance themselves (Porsche) and not return messages (Emma). But if they want this relationship to be mended, they need to work on those coping skills for long distance.
This just proves that you need to put more efforts in your relationships.

She's like an annoying sibling that won't leave you alone and you can't get rid.
I fee like people are misunderstanding Friend a lot! People are only seeing her as a home wrecker of the relationship and not understanding her background and the reasons for her actions and behaviour. Why isn't anyone talking about Night?? He's doing the exact same thing and his intentions are purely to get with Emma! (Still love Krist) With friend, I feel she never had a close family in her life and her 'cuteness' is a way to cover her grief and try to establish some sort of connection with another person. You can see her true feelings of sadness kind of show when she talks about not having family and wanting to have a brother sister relationship. (At this point of the story anyway - her feelings may develop later on into romantic but that's normal in romance dramas lol)
I don't know how you did not see all the comments bashing night? he is a dipshit and so is her brother who was matching him up with his sister hiding behind the fact that he's trying t be a good brother and wanting what's best for her when the reality is that he just really hates porsche so he tried his best to tear them apart using his friend, of course at least porsche didn't fall for the trap and even though he was so busy and didn't find so much time for her but he was never swayed by friend, but emma was swayed by night the typical "my man is not giving me enough attention so it's maybe okya for me to feed off other men's affection" just terrible
I have to agree. And what you said does make sense. In fact, I also remember Emma was getting cozier with Night even when she realized and even got it out of him that he liked her. That's not how it should go for someone who's already in a relationship. As soon as you realize the intentions of someone, you should cut it off and be firm about it, unless you're actually the one looking for something and would be willing to try it out. And in that case, it would be fine but only after you've broken things off in the previous relationship, which Emma apparently did here first.

Honestly I think people are vastly understimating the agony of a long distance relationship here. Not only that, but he's too busy even to call or text her on her birthday? honestly i think it was puppy love between them and if they had really liked each other they would have made the effort to see each other and make time to call. I think she was in love with the fact that he protected her and helped her with her fear I don't necessarily thinks she likes him she just wants someone to protect and be there for her. it is understandable we all have needs but I personally doesn't think she likes him cause it already looks like she choose night. and yes it was wrong of both of them to blame each other and not communicate about the little things they also both had free they could have each other but they didn't.
