MOWAS player here. You are exactly right! I want penetration, not HP. I prefer a single tank and a single squad over 10 tanks. Airstrikes... ridiculous. The hollywoodish explosions, these tank dances as if they are in a battle arena. Why, WHY did the developers destroy Men Of War? I played GoH, now with Liberation DLC which adds the Yanks. So much more realism, no big explosions, just a gentle "whack" when you open up the enemy tank. Sometimes it cooks off, and it's beautiful to watch. Grenades just go "pop". Didnt like older Men of War titles, but Men of War 2 fun to play. I think these game for new players to series, who likes more active gameplay.
Because older titles, players sitting and waiting while points will be enough to buy unit, or waiting until enemy buys unit.
So, first of all for players from othert RTS/RTT games, like CoH and etc...
Oh, and btw even for old farts (series lovers) there will be older system.
Both men of war 2 and call to arms are miserable to play
