Not breaking matsu's stamina bar is important. Going after matsu first makes sense.. since he is much easier to bait a safe hit out of - and he runs faster so it's kinda hard not to.
this is insane, you sir are a master at this Date & Sanada are the kind of bosses nioh 2 is lacking although they spam some attacks way too much i played nioh2 first then nioh1, nioh1 is way more challenging and got better spirit guardians plus the main missions are better than the ones from nioh2 but thats just my humble opinion i wish if they kept some of the good parts from the first nioh in nioh2
I kinda sorta agree tbh Nioh 2 has some of the best combat in any game period. But there’s certain things it lacks that Nioh 1 had. Nioh 1’s human bosses are amazing. They gave more of a challenge than some of the Yokai Bosses did, and were stylish af. Yukimura is basically a Dragoon from Final Fantasy, but hella aggressive. Masamune is a Duel Wielding badass with a f**king dragon. And Tachibana? Sheesh…. I’ll admit that Nioh 2 made Nobunaga a little more flashy. But he’s still somewhat easy, with a challenge.
I know your comment is more than 1 year old, but how is Date and Sanada good bosses. Just because they are difficult does not mean they are well-designed. In fact, they are just horribly designed, require player to play extremely passive. Everything in Nioh 2 is just better than Nioh 1, especially how to balance the player and the enemies. End game content in Nioh 1 is so poorly balanced, it becomes a game of who would oneshot who first (either you oneshot the boss, or the boss oneshot you). Nioh 2 never allow you to be ultra OP like in Nioh 1, but the bosses also feel fair for you to tackle. Nioh 2's Depth triple bosses are incredibly challenging, and is actually fun to fight.
100% elemental damage reduction while guarding can be achieved after you beat game the first time. Look for Elemental damage reduction while guarding in |>| slot, it shows up on helmet only, then transfer it to your gear via Soul Match. You need 2 pieces like this. In this case, after soul match, Poofer gear, pants and boot have elemental damage reduction while guarding. His secondary is Izanami, primary is Futsunushi in this particular floor. Reason ? Nuke damage on Masamune to kill him faster. Aside of this floor, Poofy ran Magatsuhi + Izanami
If you want to develop some ptsd attempt this with a sub level 50 wooden weapon. Gear >>>>> Char Level/Stats. That is why this video isn't like 4hrs long lol.
This video made me subscribe - love your skills - I am a PC user and am doing Abyss now - slowly progressing as I work full time so doesn't have much time 5-10 floors a day. I am also using Futsu+Izanagi+Iga (2Piece for Ninjutsu recover) - and literally destroying everything in the path. Just one question please, when you are entering the abyss to reduce the key to zero are you doing claw move and then evade (stick forward + X) which then you use flawlessly again in the Abyss (another video where you destroy the eyes of Hundred Eyes boss)? Also - if possible, could you please link a video of your Magatsuhi Build - I am keen to so how you went with that? Thank you Bro :)
I don't have video of Magatsuhi + Izanami? but it was pretty cookie cutter. With 7 pc Magatsuhi and I think either 3 or 4 pc Izanami? It's been a long time since I touched that Level 1 character in Nioh 1.
@@PooferLlama ok, I read the details on grace of Magatauhi. May I ask why you chose it over Futsunushi? What's the catch and how did you use it? I mean what onmyo, ninjutsu combination? I wouldn't mind trying that (I get a feeling Futsu does more damage).
@@singh_ma9676 For most of the Abyss I used Magatsuhi for the elemental fun. Final floor I used Futsu to just finish it. I took 3 full streaming days to do it and I was just exhausted.
@@PooferLlama wow respect bro !! For elemental effects, what ninjutsu or Onmyo stuff were you using if i may ask please? Also, what clan did you use with these two builds? I can 't wait to see your builds for Nioh 2 once it makes to PC (fingers crossed). I do have PS4 Pro but I am a more of PC gamer and enjoy games on Ultrawide Monitor 3440×1440p (playing nioh on it currently)
@@singh_ma9676 For the Level 1 run, i didn't use Onmyo and Ninjutsu. You may see Quick Change Scrolls but those were there to use in conjunction with Earthfolding Talisman. Basically, if i "died", then I would go back to a shrine to restart. It just saved me the hassle of reloading from the death screen. As for the clan, I think I was using Nanban-Gosuku for the damage at full life? If you pop into my streams, then I can show you my stuffs from Nioh 1 if that interests you.
Back in the days! Good job man!

You‘re a God my brother! Happy to tune into your stream soon, turned notifications on for your streams haha
Thanks man, but I'm not God XD! It's definitely really nice having your company around!
PooferLlama
You‘re are, for me at least. Personality wise also the best!

Incredible percision amd controls very nicely done.
Holy moly and here I am struggling on hino enma on my first play through
Reminded that Sanada has a pocket pistol. Really wish we could have gotten one as a dlc ninja tool or something.

God, this is amazing, so much skill..
Care to say what you gear was? How did you get to fully block those elementals attacks?
