Actually Yoongi was already silent when he joined the army and he came out of his silence to apologize for the so called DUI. There were actual DUI that same summer by people driving cars and provoking damage properties but only Yoongi was harassed. Army gave the number of the articles being published it was insane. Remember that they threaten him into apologizing in I dont remember the name a photo wall or something like a criminal while they spared an actual rapist from that NCT group like no photo wall, no pictures and close to no articles about that actual criminal. Now about that DUI, it was actually riding slowly and carefully an electric kickboard with a saddle for 500m after eating and drinking at a restaurant close to his home, most probably to avoid driving under influence and it was a very short distance. I remember an Army writing if the maximum speed of his electric scooter that was I repeat an electric kickboard with a saddle was 5 km p h lower there would have been no conversation at all because in this case traffic laws do not apply. The harassement was of such a scale we were worried about him and we obviously have no means to know if he is alright so knowing he seems fine is important. Again I'm so proud of Armys who loudly and relentlessly supported and support him. He deserves all the love
True,Yoongi wanted to serve in peace, to have a private time. KPOOPers & KMedia ruined it for him by unfairly blowing things out of proportion. The punishment doesn't really fit the crime. Even non-fans found all these ridiculous.
I was so worried for him because his own country seems determined to make him pay for a minor incident (which he repeatedly apologized for). It seems like South Korea doesn’t approve of you if you’re too successful. BTS, you need to work in a country that celebrates you, not constantly tears you down. Its insane!
