- It has been a long off season and I know just like me you all have to be missing some rock bouncer racing so this time on Rock Rods episode 124 we are taking you to the first race of the 2022 Rock Bouncing Racing season. This one is the Outlaw Offroad Racing Series season opener at Hawk Pride Off Road Park in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The unique thing about Outlaw is they run two courses at the same time. So drivers are going head to head on two different courses. Hawk Pride is one of our favorite parks because they have awesome rock bouncer hill climb courses that are perfect for rock racing. No dirt courses here. Stay tuned and watch these rock bouncing buggies hit the big rocks and go full send! We even got to see Tim Cameron's new Tyrant Buggy in Action.

There are those drivers that just balls to the wall go for it but there’s those that give rather lacklustre performances. Very enjoyable watch. Thanks for the driver/buggy names. Helps with who now owns what! 👍🏻

Outlaw has ran full independent before. Then went solid rear axle and now found his way back to fill independent.

I enjoyed the video. I hated to see several were breaking up pretty badly and had it effect their runs. It's part of racing but I still hate it for them. That was a pretty hefty drive shaft toss on the one.

These are great races but the promoters need to up their safety game. Throwing in a fire extinguisher the size of a beer can to a major gas fire is not good.
Agreed. Safety is an hit concern for racing. Big fire extinguishers are a must. Even better if they are water based and not the dry powder ones.
Safety is a must! Automatic fire extinguishing systems will also be mandatory soon. The Undertaker buggy already has one for example.

What does the Taz buggy have for a motor? That thing is incredibly nasty! Reminds me of watching the Indy car run at the Pikes Peak hill climb before they paved it.

I could shut my eyes and just listen to that all day! Awesome rigs! Are there penalties for backing up or going out of bounds during a run and how many chances do they get before a dnf?
I love the motor music. There is a time limit, backups don't count against you.
Come to Oregon definitely some insane hardcore stuff here but no one does it.

Tim Cameron should have stuck with the IFS setup on his newest bouncer.. IFS has worked better for him than a solid front axle.
He has won way more races in a Solid Axle Rig

Payout would have to be huge to drive to California. Most bouncers are in the eastern part of the country.
