Nice build. Great attention to Williams detail. As a technician, a couple of things
raised eyebrows though. The statements at 4:00 seem illogical. For safety reasons,
the condition of the wires possibly being pulled or crimped should never be allowed
to happen in the first place. The wires should be bundled and secured to the case, and
lengthened if necessary. That way you can (and MUST) solder them, or use a connector
as mentioned elsewhere. Wires apparently simply wrapped around lugs? No!
At 6:00, surely some proper, longer screws can be found to secure that solenoid?
Some flavour of LocTite might secure the screw heads to the metal solenoid frame if required.
Perhaps bolts through the wood, and nuts with LocTite would be more secure.

I've been looking for vpins for a while.. and only found this one when searching for 3d... this is definitely the one in the #1 position right now. Agree with all the points made in this video.
seeing the side by side comparisons of 4k vs 1080 was cool, thanks.. .looks like a really cool build! i'd like to see more about what solution is providing the 3D face tracking functionality (unless thats proprietary)
@@TheStormGroup Cool! will have to do more research! I've not seen much in the scene about head tracking 3d! Looking up Rafal's youtube seems like he's been into this for some time.. surprised it isnt a more standard feature that would be found in virtual pinball scenes, what would you say is the limiting factor? effort incorporating the functionality?
@@TheStormGroup Thank you for that insight. Based on what you' said, the 3D method is just for the one platform (Future ) are there 3D methods to use for Visual Pinball(or other platforms, FX3 and such) that you're aware of (now i'm just making chit chat)? In any case seems like a really fun "novelty" to incorporate unless as you speculated the amount of work or unfamiliarity with how to implement is too much the hurdle. Congrats on what appears to be a great build!

Nice walkthrough. Nice clean design and build. However, You should move the volume controls to the front of the machine. I expect I (as would a lot of people) have the machine up against a wall and opening the back would not be something you want to do regularly. Also, constructive criticism here....DEEEEEE CAL! ;)
Is there an option for a real plunger and double buttons on the side (magna saves and such), and also how about a 15x9 screen instead of the DMD? Thanks for the video...Im shopping around for one myself now...
@@TheStormGroup I communicated with someone via EMail last month and have the name saved...I'm still kinda doing the research and shopping around but I do like the consideration of the exchange rate...Also, I've had the name since the Commodore 64, 300 baud modem days 👍😉🙏

Very nice and true machine! But I wonder why the monitor is flat and not a bit more sloped ?
Monitor IS sloped, to exactly 6.5 degrees, just like a Williams machine 🙂

@@MrNiceHk yeah i think alot of them do it on purpose. More money to be made making one i suppose. I just cant justify 5k for an included pc and monitors i dont need.

I would suggest hiring a marketing and promotional guy. You come off as very pompous and matter a fact. Very off putting . you are aware that they make connectors for the coin lights. No need to solder or wrap the wrap the wire around. Love the PC mounting hardware.
I liked the sales pitch.
I'd rather real excitement than canned. Look at car manufacturers. Tesla versus GM. Elon Musk's excitement is real. GM marketing is totally fake.
