I have a 2005 Infiniti G 35 with the same issue with one start up put a new CPU had a locksmith program at it started up on the fifth time it went into lock mode what tool did you use to reprogram the key

Got a new bcm from Infiniti and Nissan datascan just says ecu error but it connects to my ecu fine just won’t let me program keys
Guys, if NDS II software cannot connect to original BCM saying 'program failed' using 4 digit NATS pin code generated from the given website after entering BCM HEX pin code, it does not mean BCM is bad.
For G35 2003-06 the 2003 same engine been used and default NATS pin code is 5523.
Try using pin 5523 to reprogram keys.
The same issue happened with me , I thought BCM went bad however it was not the case.

Mine do, (just swapped my chassis harness and i am swapping my bcm tonight 04 6mt g35 coupe) my wiring harness got wet from a crack in the floor causing my 10 amp running through my bcm to blow so hopefully replacing that will do the trick i will let you know if that code works for me.

When do I enter the code into the software?
You can also turn the key to the on position for 5 seconds and then off. Repeat it until the light goes away. Take out the key unlock and lock the car and it should start. Repeat if it doesn’t
That method doesn’t work on keyless start cars
I'm going to do a revup to de swap and I'm anticipating to have this issue. You say it has to be the original ecu or can I use the de ecu?
That’s an interesting swap, these cars have different bcms from year to year so idk if the bcm would talk to the new ecu, u might want to try and get the bcm and the keys, ignition etc from ur de car as well
What was the process you went thru when using data scan I’m going thru the same problem and got the bcm coming tomorrow and have data scan downloaded I’m just wondering do you program the bcm under the ecu tab or the bcm tab

i got the BCM working but can’t get the key fob working. When i insert the key rapidly in the ignition nothing happens
also my ignition lock is acting up just like yours in the video and it wont unlock can i do this procedure like that or you have any methods to unlocking it im stuck right now and i could really use help also subbed for the useful content
I was scared of that too, when you put in a new bcm the steering lock no longer recognizes the key so it won’t unlock. When u use the software and put in the code to program the bcm it unlocks the ignition so you can program the keys
If it dosent unlock at that point you might have a bad ignition lock

Bcm shouldn’t have anything to do with your engine functions that’s controlled by your ecu. You need the next version of this software for the G37

I did, sometimes u get lucky and it’s the correct one, I had to go manually change mine

You can use the software on different cars. You just pay for it once
I keep getting the message from vdcs-lite of no response from controller as well as the message from NDS2 can not open com1 any idea how to fix this?
With these cables you have to go to the windows settings and see which com it is it can be com1-2-3 or 4. Then you go in the app setting and change it to that for the app to communicate properly
I have a 06 G coupe and had a weak battery and held off getting a new one it died and the windows dropped from the seal...well between the days of low voltage and rain...now my keyfobs dont work window doesnt blip up and it just cranks and doesnt start. Noticed that random stuff was coming on even headlights and stuff! I removed the BCM and am letting it air out but ill prob have to get one off ebay. So same part number, usb off amazon and download the program and im good? It programs the new BCM to the car and then the BCM to the keys i assume? thanks
yeah pretty much follow the process in the video and you should be good! id suggest making sure your ECU is also in good health. Goodluck!

Anyone in lock mode here is what works key on but don't start count to 5 turn off then back on count 5 turn off. Repeat until the red security light shuts off then start .
Doesn’t work on keyless cars like mine
Yo will this work with the 09 370z? I engine swapped my car with a healthy engine and my car basically got locked out. I sent my ECU to Uprev and had them disable the NATS system. My keys still lock and unlock but the BCM from what i assume is the culprit. Thanks
It should be the same process, but the cars with push to start use data scan 3 I believe.
Does this method work for a 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan? Its a VQ35HR with a keyless entry.
You would need the next version of the the data scan software for the cars that have push to start, the process is similar though
Im literally in this very position, cranks, will fire up with starter fluid, but my immobilizer light is on, trunk wont pop, and wont fire up. Its cut my injectors and fuel pump out
09 g37s, does not start no dash no crank, headlights turn on and door lights, red key light flashing on dash while off, I can unlock and lock the doors can this be the issue ? I’ve replaced the ipdm and steering lock module have not diagnosed the bcm
Could it be the bcm or the key fob itself ?
Have you tried it? Think I have the same issue with no crank, unlike the video where he had crank

My 06 g35 auto battery terminal was messed up replace it and got locked out,had nissan reprogram key and got locked out again 😫😫😫 hope this work thanks man

No your right, it’s a generic cable, I was skeptical at first too but that’s the same cable they use for that software
couldnt download the software on a chrome book i payed for a locksmith to come out but he couldnt do nothing with the key ignition being locked
Yes you need windows for the software to work.

The nats won't disable the fuel pump or starter, It does disable injector pulse.
Hey bro I’m having this same issue I already replaced the IPDM but still nothing the security light stays & no crank. The only thing difference is that my fans stay on when you turn the key to the “On” position but the security light stays on but does not crank over. For some reason when I hook up the scanner it also doesn’t read it I’m not sure if you had the same issue
From back when I was researching my issue, everyone on the forums told me that if the fans are on like that it means your ECU is bad. You can send yours to get rebuilt or get another one but it has to be programmed to ur VIN.
My fans stay on too but my car cranks but won’t start the security light also is on any ideas?
@@jizzyboi9211 I had the same issue. I changed the IPDM but no luck but later found out why Unfortunately my circuit relay blew out first so when my ECM fuse blew everything else did too going all the way back. I ended up taking it to my mechanic & Infiniti. No scanner would pick up signal because everything going back got fried. They recommended I change out everything in order to hopefully get signal including harnesses in order to reprogram everything. In your case I would start with checking fuses first on your IPDM. If no luck then you have to work backwards like how I did. Hopefully yours isn’t like mine !
If your IPDM has corrosion then I would swap out the IPDM !

Yeah I have windows 10, 40 is just the software. You pay and they email you the key. Then download the software from the datascan website. The OBD Cable I bought from Amazon since it was cheaper

hey bro i just bought a 05 g35 sedan and the dude i bought it from says he programs the car and it looses program after 3-4 times and won’t start and said it’s the ignition switch. Do you think i should replace the ignition switch or just do this
I’ve heard that on the cars without keyless start, you can do something to reset the system or bypass the security and then it’ll start for the next couple times he might be doing that. The issue is still somewhere within the immobilizer. In this case it could be the chip inside ur key. I’d say try getting a new key programmed to the car first and see if that fixes it. Probably the cheapest first step.

your good, someone with an older fx directed me to this so I know it worked for their car. If you have the push to start button you might need the next gen data scan like G37/ 370z.

Hello, thank you very much for posting this video I have the exact same issue with my car just the key light is on the dash aswell and I have the 2 top codes on my car, when the locksmiths came they couldn’t connect to the car to program the keys so I took it to the dealership, they told me my ipdm was busted so I got a new one and I rewire d it and still the same issue, I only have the key w/ the transponder inside, do you recommend me to so same as you did, thank you very much in advance!
The place where I turn on the car spins aswell with no key inside of it, not sure if that’s how it works
If they can’t communicate with the bcm chances are your experiencing the same thing I did. I can’t say for sure but there’s a high chance that following the steps I showed will solve your problem

@@yousefabujumaiza2267 I’m not sure but the one I used was mentioned in the softwares website that’s why I used it. Also for me it was the fact that everytime we tried to reprogram my keys no device could communicate with the bcm so that’s how I knew. U can see this in the video too where the first time I try it with the old bcm and no luck then I swap to the new one and it lets me program it.

I did an engine swap on my 04 g35 coupe and I lost the ecu but got an exact ecu and my G isn't even cranking on or the security red light isn't on at all. I had a lock smith check it out and he couldn't program the key he said he couldn't get pass the security system and my ob2 can't scan any issues what would you recommend thanks so much.
From what I’ve heard, the ecus on these cars need to also be programmed when u go from one car to another. There’s places online you send it to. That might be a good place to start

I think about 120 for a used one from eBay plus what I paid for the software and the wire to program the new bcm, the link to that stuff is in the bio.
Can this condition happen after a motor swap. Say car sat powered down for 5+ mo no juice to system. Swap In new motor. Timing good mechanical good. No start.??
That’s what happened to me, I got my engine swap after locking up my last motor…. But the car wouldn’t start. I still two ecm’s im assuming my stock one and one from the donor engine. Brought it to the dealer to get the key program but they couldn’t, said I needed to replace the wiring harness I think that was some BS tho…
You can get ecu/bcm/ignition combos on eBay and try that

Infiniti / Nissan have crap for quality. Stay away from these vehicles unless you want to deal with issues..
