Brilliant ! Runs great, I run the Slomo wagon with all my locos now and it gives realistic slow running and smooths out the bumps and dips in the track. See my other videos... most have the Slomo for slow and smooth running. Highly recommended.... usual commercial disclaimer, just a happy customer / user of the device.
@@SteamDriven that looks excellent. I’ve been researching live steam for a garden railway, and liked what I saw when I’ve seen the locos that had been slomo equipped, but had seen less of wagon/tender versions of the same thing. I also prefer the size and look of 7/8ths scale, and had noted that most slomos seemed to be for 16mm scale.
Sorry Matthew for the late reply (very late)... only just saw your comment. The Slomo is an inertia device (small axle driven gearbox with a flywheel) that adds resistance to the train and helps give the loco a good load to pull and the inertia flywheel in the unit helps smooth out bumps and dips in the track giving very smooth scale speed running. In real life these contractor type locos only ran at 5 - 10 MPH on short industrial sites. I run all of my locos now with a Slomo either built into the loco chassis or pulling the Slomo fitted in the coal wagon. See my other videos with various other home build and commercial locos using a Slomo. Hope that helps. John
I love this engine
i love my bagnall ,,, they are so good,,,,
I agree David... not too complicated and plenty of reserve to be able to sit back and have a relaxing run.
and great slow running without a slomo,,, can get an hour running from mine
I have a bagnall now. it will be on my channel this sommer
How have you found the performance of the slomo wagon for the Bagnall?
