Where is this trail out of Revelstoke? Did you log/record it? If so can you tag me with a link? I'm so intrigued to find it!
Wait! Where's the married couple from The Endless Adventure RUclips channel at (thumbnail)? That's part of the reason why I had clicked on to your channel.
@@travelinman482 sounds like a coincidence.
Where is this trail out of Revelstoke? Did you log/record it? If so can you tag me with a link? I'm so intrigued to find it
Why would they deactivate a trail?
You know, when I was a kid and did something crazy. My father would always say .” There’s something wrong with that boy…..” Watching you cross that bridge, I gotta tell ya “ There’s something wrong with that boy !”
Ya, I was thinking the same thing... lol
But one things for sure... that was the best MaxTrax advertisment I've ever seen
🤠👍
I think you hit all the right touches to this video. The music, the shots, the old stories, what it must of been like back then. This video hit all the right emotions. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I also loved it! That's my favorite type of trail.
The 30min mark is a postcard shot. Beautiful!!. Need to send that shot to Jeep and have that as an advertisement.
I’ve always loved your channel, but when you showed the cemetery I knew how special this channel really is. Paying respects to those before us especially under those circumstances is not only wise, but genuinely humbling. Hats off for being a great dude!
I bet at min 32 you were wishing you were in a little Tj or driving your buddy"s instead of the long wheel base glad....
I just found your channel....& So far... I'm glad I did.
I'm now driving a Tj. I bought it for my mom & started building it for her 2yrs ago...it was her baby.
I lost her to leukemia on 9-11-22 and she made me promise I'd finish it up and go on many adventures with it....I'm trying to get it ready to make a 2000 mile round trip, from Missouri to Colorado and back to spread her ashes on a ranch she lived & worked on when I was a kid.
Lots to do yet but Lord willing I'll get everything done...
Never loose that passion for exploration & enjoy the company of those who you care about while we're here to do so....
Great video
Yours truly,
The Missouri Explorer

This channel is just amazing, I love the vibe so much and it makes me wanna go on these trails. I can't believe I have just recently found out about this channel. Absolute masterpiece
I also can't believe you made it through!
You both are extremely great drivers, and the quality of Jeep Rubicons, is quite evident!
Awesome views, great usage of your drone, excellent pictures, and love the accompaning music.
I can't wait to watch another episode of yours.......
Be safe out there, GOD Bless
Seriously... I'd rather binge watch your channel than anything on Netflix!
Outstanding job guys...uber good!
Blessings.
Wow, thank you!
Fantastic! That view at the top was out of this world and the road down the other side was sketchy as hell. We all need that friend on the trail that laughs as you feel like you're going to fall of the side of the mountain. Great video. Mike was a great trail-mate.
Couldn't agree more!
This channel deserves to win some type of award - the videography is exceptional…!!!
The scenery was stunning, the adventure amazing. That bridge was super sketchy, not sure I would have done that. Thanks for sharing
Good stuff! I understand the joy of not having to back track a trail.
That area is unbelievably beautiful. The shots right after the gold mine are just stunning
Seen many awesome mountain bike vids in Revelstoke. This is the best of road vid I've seen.
This is probably the very best video I've ever watched. What courage to venture on those really sketchy tracks. The views are awesome. Thanks for taking an oldtimer Englishman with you. We have nothing like this in the UK.
Half these roads were likely cut by UK expats 80-100 years ago 😊
Thanks for putting out the best overland content on RUclips! So happy I found your page it’s been a huge inspiration. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing and beautiful country , so different to our little mountains . I'm Australian and love my 4x4 and camping , I would love to explore there .
The quality of this channel is insane. Should definitely have 1M+ subs
Thank you!
Transitions, drone footage, cinematography is 💥💥💥 You're going to make a blockbuster film! You're special man! Keep living your best life!
Thank you!
Shaun, your friends are on another level🔥🔥🔥🔥 Could've sworn I saw Mike as a character in Assassin's Creed Valhalla 😂😂😂
Very cool. Love the scenery after the fog cleared!! #JTRSPARTACUS
One of, if not the best video to date! Fantastic and featuring a 2 door to boot! What a beautiful place to explore!
You should carry an inclinometer. The camera never seems to do steeps justice. But when you see readings of 25 degrees+... You know that is steep.
That looked like a hang gliding launch ramp at the Lookout.
It is
Great adventure, Thank You for taking us along.
Shaun im quite envious of your business and how your making an incredible living and the fact that your doing this as a Canadian in BrItish Columbia. You and your crew are amazing thanks for the great content.
AB🇨🇦 No kidding!
I’d love to go for a few days camping with these guys, I love being in the wilderness. The older I get the more I desire the country, environmental beauty & authentic people😊
🕊♥️🇨🇦🙏🏻♥️🕊
Nice work man. That road was sketchy....Time to wash those drawers I imagine.
Just wonderful. I've seen TV documentaries that weren't produced this well. My only suggestion: Tell us at the beginning where you are and where's you're going. Fortunately I was able to glean it from the comments. Beautiful job, my friend. A true virtual getaway - especially for an old guy in Florida ;)
One of the most amazing videos and trails I've ever seen! Thank you!
Those switchbacks you had remind me of Black Bear Pass in CO. Super narrow and tight as can be. You guys had some amazing views on your adventure. Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.
I just went out to CO a couple months ago and did Black Bear for the first time. As I was watching this, I was thinking the same thing.
Jeez, Shaun! You and the Cheerful Viking dude took us on a wild trip with this one. Really good stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Trust your spotter much? 😂. Mike seems like a great wing man. Another great video!!!
The things about your channel I love the most is of course the jeeps doing what they do like no other vehicle on earth and the second is you are one of the luckiest men I've ever seen because you live in British Columbia and as an American who lives in the desert southwest I am always in awe of the raw beauty and nature that B.C has in sheer abundance . I love my country and don't think I could ever live anywhere else but British Columbia would be the one place I would ever consider. It's just that good one day I hope to at least visit and see a little of that wonderous place
I Think you got back to your roots. Adventure exploring and not doing trails for the sake of doing trails.
Only that kind of love can propel you over the inherent dangers. It is what built your channel.
Happy for you.
Those old miners were pretty bad ass. No motor vehicles, no chainsaws...
This is addictive to watch. I don't even have a Jeep (yet) but really love your videos. Thanks for the inspiration.
Glad you like them!
A little pucker factor there. "I checked my watch and it's adventure time." 🤘
That was the best adventure I've seen on your channel yet!
Shaun, you are honestly my favorite Overlanding channel. Your shots and camera work is phenomenal. Every video feels like a movie and it keeps everyone on there toes forsure. Thank you for these videos and all the hard work you put into them. I know its not easy. Safe travels and God bless brotha. 🙏🏽🤙🏽
Thanks buddy!
YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME! I’m jealous! I’ve been a hiker in the local Salt Lake City canyons. I know the back roads and have done my own off-roading on a smaller scale. I’ve been in the back country by myself taking a smaller 05 Jeep liberty 4x4 onto and ATV trail to hit the off road I knew was above. I didn’t even know if the trail would be wide enough at the top to make it through. The Jeep climbed really well as my steering wheel was shaking and in my other hand filming with my cellphone. I straddled a deep crevice in the dirt road with tires on each side but I made it. Not like your treks but it was invigorating to me. Thanks for sharing your adventures
This might be the best one of yours I’ve seen so far.
Your videos are wonderful.
Soon I will make videos like this crossing the entire PANAMERICAN.
Congratulations to everyone involved!!!
This is one of your best vids!! Those tight switchbacks are no joke !!
Amazing views! But those switchbacks were crazy. Great to have Mike along
This is by far one of the coolest/prettiest place I have ever watched on your channel, hell RUclips period I do believe. Awesome video
There were some epic Mtn bike and moto trails visible in many of those drone shots. Looks like an incredible zone.
that little peek at 34:11 looked like a sweet single twisty.
I don't understand why this channel doesn't have 5 million followers. The content and production values are light years ahead of most of the crud on the tube. Have you considered installed front and rear cameras?
Wow! I do a lot of sketchy rock crawling in a purpose built rig. I have only seen a few of your videos, but I do not care to do the off camber, steep stuff that you do. As a fellow off-roader I have a huge appreciation for what you go out and do. Keep up the extreme overlanding.
Thank you!
Just watch this now for breakfast. Absolutely incredible. Your drone skills are legendary. Keep it up.
Wow.. What kind of Adventure.. And the Landscape.. Unbelievable...
Love the video as usual! You need the Tazer brake turn option for some of those switchbacks
Wow Hats off too you guys. That is the best overlanding video i have seen so far, awesome !!!
Those wooden "ramps" hanging off the edge of Mt. Buchanan up by the look out tower were set up and used by Hang Gliders back in the day. There used to be one snagged in a tree top for quite a few years. Most of the Mining up around Kaslo and Sandon were Silver mines. A Lada Niva works great on those sharp switchbacks!!
I actually have a lada nova stashed. It was my dads. Such a fun little machine. The green Jeep is damn near as nimble, plus has ac, and can hit 120kmh on cruise, unlike the nova!🤣🤣 but I’d like to get it cleaned up, and wheel it a bit, for old times sake!
More zinc than silver. Gotta feed the smelter in Trail
Dude, I'm a (novice) hang glider. Those ramps are awesome launch places. What a cool place to be.
I am ASSUMING this is anywhere from Valhalla Provincial park on the East side up to Pinnacle Peak on the west side which is some of the most ornery, remote and prickly 4x4 trails anywhere in North America. Up in the Goat Ranges on the east side and Mount Odin on the west side of the lakes is some TRULY GNARLY terrain!
Did it with some of the first fat tired mountain bikes back in the day! Took us ten weeks to traverse all those old mining roads and de-activated forest service road terrain over a summer! Best time of our lives though. We pretty much lived on fish we could catch, local edible berries, boiled and then re-chilled mountain water, various energy drinks/teas/coffees plus our massive packs of MREs! Our legs looks like oak barrels at the end of the summer so well used they were! We saw maybe fifteen other trekkers in all those ten weeks it is such a remote area. Those were the days when ANYTHING and ANYWHERE could be ridden to because we were so young and fearless!
CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU !!! --- ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO and ANOTHER FANTASTIC CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE !!!
V
One my favorite videos from your channel. I would have loved to see more of those switch backs.
Man, I loved this one!
There isn't a better visual story teller then right here. Fog or not It's seriously incredible what you are able to accomplish with a drone and a few small cameras. Any one of these shots can be a magazine cover. The pine trees reflecting off the hood of the Jeep idk man this is some seriously incredible stuff. Letting the earth paint the setting for you and all. Very impressive guys.
Thank you
Absolutely stunning views. WOW!!
One of your best, Shaun. And that's saying something, with the amount of bangers you have. Holy crap.
dude this is a great video. that is such a cool area to explore. i really liked a lot of your drone shots and your choice in music was really good. beats the shit out of the mix between bluesy rock music and college-girl folk music you hear on every off roading video. thanks for having some taste.
Absolutely stunning! I can't wait to go explore.
Top notch editing! It’s like a movie!
Man I'm a new sub and I been binge watching all your adventures and videos... bro you sir are killing it on youtube...I love how you edit these .. so relaxing then palms sweat then back to relaxing... good for you man
You are such a gifted story teller & through video, sound, emotion.. the best out there. ❤ Makes me want to get in my jeep and gooOO. Thank you!
Man, those shelf roads had me in the edge of my seat. I'm sure your nerves were shot doing those sharp turns. But you made it, great job!
Wow. The story is back again. Nerve wrecking episode. Amazing.
Love Mike's personality
What incredible scenery.
You should be paid to make Jeep commercials, way better than they have ever done!!
If you are questioning your sanity maybe it’s crazy or maybe you are really living. The remark I would have loved to been here when these roads (trails) mines and the building were first discovered and erected that spirit is what presses the boundaries and is life worth living. Thank you from documenting your adventures.
What an amazing area, Awesome video !! Always an epic alpine adventure when Mike shows up !!!
For sure!!
wow guys. quite the production! nice work!
you are so inspiring I love watching your videos
Spectacular scenery, . I really enjoyed it. Thank you !
Just… UNREAL!!!
Whoa!!! That shot of the shelf road at 25:57 got my heart racing just watching y’all. That’s pretty intense!
I've been on roads just like the one you went down and my heart was racing watching you go down it. Its not fun while doing it but once you get through it you feel like superman.
Minute 7: you like ticks? This is how you get ticks. Love your videos. Been watching them all day. The places you visited and the experiences you’ve had are just amazing. Keep it up. You rock.
OnX Off-road tells you what altitude you’re at. This would have been a video to tell have talked about that.
Super beautiful.
Makes me miss my jeep when I see your videos.
Adventure on!
28.49-29.20 absolutely majestic. As an avid off roader, I love the whole vid, but SOME PARTS are just beyond compare.
If you're ever in Colorado, check out Black Bear pass for more like this. Also, banker mine near Buena Vista.
I am envies. Those trails and the views are nothing short of awesome. Looks like fun with good friends. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are “Trail Blazers! Wonderfull Footage! Nice work!
Thanks for sharing the beautiful view and travel experience.
Glad you are driving these roads. More people need to drive them and repair sketchy areas otherwise they will be closed.
This is another great video! The quality of your videos is always great. Your use of the drone adds a dimension to your productions that most of the other Jeep adventurers don't have. The vistas the drone allows you to show are breathtaking. I'm so envious - that you've developed a lifestyle around high adventure and the outdoors. Kudos to you! Keep up the good "work."
I've seen all your videos so far. This one I feel is my favorite so far. Well done good sir!
Shawn Thank you for the time you spend going on these adventures, sometimes the sketchy stuff that happened in this video really set me back in awe of the views. Once again thanks
Shaun, the cinematography in this video was incredible! Like movie theatre quality. And the scenery, unbelievable views. Also, Mike is absolutely the type of guy you want navigating those kind of trails. Calm and humorous to relieve anxiety. Loved it brother. Be safe and keep em coming.
Thanks Jack!
First time someone’s called me calm! I’m taking this to the wifey!! 🤣🤣 thanks for the compliment Jack!!
Even though the weather didn't cooperate, it still looked like an amazing trip. Great footage of everything!!
What at amazing adventure and videography Shaun !!! Various skills on the highest level...
Thanks for bringing us along this terrific journey through the beautiful Selkirk Mountains of the West Kootenay region.
Best episode yet!! Lmao at the "log"crack🤣. And the gorgeous views...my gawd! Also, the tight switch backs an sketchy shelf roads remind me of black bear pass in Colorado you should check that out!
Among my favorite videos you’ve posted. The fog and weather are a reality and it was nice to watch you deal with it, although I’m sure we all missed some epic views. The insanity level was among your best. Great footage, great storytelling, another epic adventure. Keep producing content and it will be consumed. Jealous of the beauty so close to your doorstep! Thank you!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for sharing with us. There's a place here in southern Oregon that's similar to this that I like to go, only the Alpine isn't quite as high. I love it.
Best "Overland" video I have seen!!!
Nice trip over the mountains. 🤙 Top flights with your drone. 🛰
Ahh! Such amazing country and what a spectacular time of year to be there. I enjoyed your "not fun" times as these are when we realize how amazing life can be. Don't be mad but your high picker factor K-turns made me chuckle quite a bit. Having a spotter at those times is golden. Good job, "SUPER" adventure!
Buddy, it's never a disappointment watching your videos! I have the same "explorer" mentality, especially being out in the wild (kayaking a river, hunting in VT...). Of course, in CT USA, there isn't much to explore
I feel ya. I'm in CT myself.
Just amazing is all I can say. Your a great story teller, and your cinematography is just aw inspiring. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
