Kris, I hope you know Dot is a keeper. Please don't let her get away. You would be a damn fool to let her get away. What a beautiful hard worker. Although I live in the USA, I will conc to the wedding. Just to hopefully get a dance with her. What a incredible person. You will never find another Lady like her. Your life would be crap without her. Keep your eyes on the prize my friend. God bless you both
I love to see happy animals. Those sheep jumping for joy at being let into a new field was fantastic! And the start of the video, when you came up the hill on your tractor, and the sheep slowly appeared out of the Welsh morning fog... gorgeous! Magical! ❤
I came across your channel by pure luck and got intrigued by this lad filling up tires with clay and stones to make a foundation for something. From there on I was hooked and watched and liked every single one of your videos. The effort you put into making rational building decisions without ever compromising on the quality or aesthetics when applicable is admirable, all of this while moving cameras and checking sound and recording quality to see if the filming is going well, plus editing and whatnot after all of this. I watched the whole roundhouse playlist twice, and that was before the quarantines, I kinda feel compelled to watch for a third time, such an amazing building. Given the misterious ways the algorithm overlord works, I'm always commenting and interacting on polls and videos. Helps more people to see this amazing channel that's full of ingenuity, determination with a uncorruptible eco-mindset behind all of this industriousness. Thank you for the entertainment and inspiration in all these years, you both rock, Dot and Kris.
You have done a lot of hard work in anything you build. That doesn't go unnoticed, near the end of the video was well worth watching and those sheep were so happy running and hopping in that field. The fencing is perfectly straight. Good on you. Just waiting to see what you do next. Thanks for sharing and taking the time to film it. That will be your video biography for the future and if you have children they will want to keep it.
Really love your life Kris, that pole driver is a game changer, place is great, thank you for your content Kris, the peace that surrounds you is beautiful and really helps, you do way more for us than you realize, you guys take care and God Bless you and yours ❤️👍💯
Just seeing the sheep jumping and leaping for joy at the new pasture was so adorable. Gave me a chuckle. Loved it! Great job on your fencing. I know you are so glad it's done.
So enjoy watching a guy who knows what he’s doing. Your channel is exactly what I needed 60 years ago to plan my life. I’ve done all right but never realized the possibilities until now. I think RUclips channels such as yours will change lives for the better. I was glad to hear about your deal with the neighbor and his sheep. I wouldn’t want to be the butcher after looking after them for a while. They’d all turn into pets for me.
I suggest painting the tops of your fence posts with roofing material with fiber. That will seal the grain, and keep them from rotting for many more years. Good work.
Hard work always pays off in the end. Dot sure isn't a slacker.. As seen in a couple videos you almost have to work twice as hard just to keep up with her.. You two work great together.. I cant start my greenhouse until my kiln is complete here... Keep up the great work and please continue to share with us. Have a great day
This is coming from a father of two adult sons. Any father or father in law would be over the moon to have you as a son. I respect your hard work and encourage you to continuing to follow your dreams. P.S. You and Dot are so handsome together.
The opening shot of driving in the tractor, sheep in the field, birds singing and the morning mist reminds me of scene from James Harriet’s All Creatures Great and Small. Just lovely.
Sheep so happy they were jumping for joy!! Time for a milk cow,, butter,, cheese,, cream ,, ice cream,, milk,, & pigs turn the extra into bacon!! Love your farm & projects.. Another blow coming,, it's here on east coast USA..
You're a farmer! It's hard to picture how the lay of your land looks completely, but driving toward this last field looked really good. It's very pretty on days like this ❤️
Kris, I absolutely love watching and learning from you. Thank you for educating us on things that are unfamiliar. I’m a nurse, please wear eye protection!!
I love ur life! U are both very lucky people, but also very hard working, so deserve to live as u do. If i were younger and had a healthy spine, i would be doing something similar. I love nature and used to be very outdoorsy. I get my fix of green from videos like yours nowadays. Good honest people doing good honest work, for the best life there is!
Crazy seeing how far the development has come. I remember finding the first roundhouse video where you laid out the tyres into the clearing. That was about 1 month after it was first uploaded and I remember being excited about having some regular content about something I was interested in seeing. I’m so glad I stuck around for the journey. Also, the on board tractor ride though the mist needs to be made into a full length video! That was so oddly satisfying and relaxing to watch 🤣
Love what you’ve accomplished. So cool. Found your vlog around Christmas. You inspired me to start fixing things myself. I usually break stuff when I try to fix things so I stopped trying. Thanks for the motivation. The green house and how you built it is amazing.
Thats nice to hear, thank you. keep trying mate. i to often still break stuff when i try and fix it but that just makes me even more motivated to get it right the second time. The greenhouse videos will be coming soon. Im getting the glass on Sunday. Just need to finish the mill and mill some more wood.
I look forward to seeing y'all put in a hedgerow. That is one old-timey practice that is both extremely functional and also nice for the environment and wildlife. Cheers.
Bet you anything you like - there was a mexican wave of chortling around the world watching those sheep skipping in - I laughed out loud in unison with Kris :) Fabulous job, you can justifiably feel incredibly proud!
I love watching Dot and you working the land. I wish you both a prosperous future and long life together. You are an inspiration to watch as you overcome each obstacle. May you and Dot have a long and prosperous life together. Forever be yourself Chris. You give hope to many.
👍👌👏 Congrats! Extremely impressive how you two managed this mammoth project. Very well done! You can be pretty proud of yourself. I loved to see how happy the sheep are. 2) Please kindly allow me a suggestion for a tractor addition: If you put on a kind of V- shaped steel wedge on the bottom of the concrete filled gas bottle, you will have a nice wood splitter! Or put on even two wedges (a sharper on an wider angled one). Maybe also something to hold the wood pieces in place while/before splitting. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all of you (humans animals and plants).
Eureka! That much done! The greenhouse is going to be spectacular to complete and put into use. Another milestone accomplished...another milestone ahead!! I truly look forward to your posts...wish I could physically help.
@13:00 Please be careful rolling out stock fencing i.e. no hands inside and such. If the roll springs then ones fingers will be gone in a flash. Putting a post or metal bar through the middle and walking it out with another person is a good shout. Besides this one griffe I must say you've done a beautiful and tidy job!
Great to see the fencing coming to an end allowing you to get back to the greenhouse which I am so looking forward to seeing along with the saw you have made. Always great content here's to the next installment. stay safe J.
I enjoy your videos. You are very resourceful, and I love the way you come up with solutions to accomplish what you set out to do. Congrats on well done jobs, and living offgrid. And congrats on such a helpmate in Dot. It is great to have someone you can count on, that shares your passions. Now you need to take a big stainless steel nut and make a set of rings. :D Take care.
It would be a nightmare to do alone as I would be on and off the tractor. But really we are doing this for Dot. She is taking the lead on the farming side of things and is really motivated. So really I’m helping her.
Hey Kris! Make a video on lambing! 🐑 Maybe follow your neighbour for a quick "day in the life of a shepherd" vid. My friends are always interested to hear my farm stories and see farm pics/vids. Fencing videos did well!! Couple of hundred thousand views 😎 well done!
Hey Kris, could you please use a chalk board or a white board and draw out a map of your place? It is hard not to get confused when you watch on video about where your fields are in relationship to the house and the workshop.
Love the video, thanks a lot. I'm quite sure that the sheep would really love a shed, or some kind of cover to get them out of the weather. They really do not like rain. Just my observation on norwegian free ranging sheeps and cows
As someone who has been here since the roundhouse was being installed, I just want to say, You're F**king cool!
Ditto on that LoudLudo.
Roger that LL :)
Roundhouse gang represent! :D
It amazes me how far you've come Kris I've been watching you since the first Hydro videos. You are nothing short of inspiring🙌🏼
Thank you, I sometimes forget these days that it wasn't that long ago really that i was in a tent in an empty overgrazed field.
@@KrisHarbour time really does fly
@@KrisHarbour i still remember when you started the videos with "back in Wales" it used to be a drinking que in my flat

In a world full of chaos, it's good to see someone who's still just hammering fence posts into the ground.

The work Chris puts into this place is brilliant. Some real hard yakka.
Would love to see a drone tour of the property.
What a bloody good idea!!!
This is progress Mr Kris Harbour. You have the ways and means; the "know how,"the machinery and the help to keep you moving forward.

It’s beautiful watching the sheep being so happy to be in a new pasture, jumping in all!....keep up the fantastic job you do from a loyal fan!

Sweet. She's coming together beautifully. Can't wait to see your trees you planted fully matured.
Yes and me, they are going to be future hedge rows I'm guessing.

Really enjoyed watching the sheep very cool
We raised sheep my entire childhood and I never built a fence as sturdy as that one!

GREAT TEAMWORK, GREAT JOB, KEEP SAFE, KEEP WARM AND COZY.
First time I’ve seen this guy use a nail lol. You’re awesome Kris!
Hello Dot, that's a good days work. It's lovely to see you working as a team.

Hello Kris,
A good job done... Good to see the sheep testing out the field...
Take care.

Wonderful team very impressive result.
Look how far you have come! Fantastic... bet you are pleased that laborious job is done too.👏🌞
👍👌👏 Congrats! Extremely impressive how you two managed this mammoth project. Very well done! You can be pretty proud of yourself. I loved to see how happy the sheep are.

Good idea to check with a metal stake if there is some stone before pressing the wood pole... Nice video, same weather here in Normandy!!! ☂️ 👍
Thanks Kris you’re the bomb! 👏👍👍👍💯💯💯
Eureka! That much done! The greenhouse is going to be spectacular to complete and put into use. Another milestone accomplished...another milestone ahead!!
I truly look forward to your posts...wish I could physically help.
Nice work, as always, Chris. That Post pounder, which seems to be obsolete if you have completed your fencing can be repurposed as a log splitter.
A brilliant job well done as always 👍
Thanks you keep on putting posts up on the channel. You deserve a beer or two.
Good job no one was out when this happened as it could have been a very nasty situation. Glad you can easily fix it.
The sheep looked happy and excited to venture into the new field!
farmin and ranchin are the same all over the world. dang hard work!
Kris....you and Dot are building a beautifully, well made future.
Beautiful work! Such a knackering but satisfying job!

happy sheep! 🐑🐑🐑 very pleased 😄
Great video again thanks for making it.

Great to see the fencing coming to an end allowing you to get back to the greenhouse which I am so looking forward to seeing along with the saw you have made. Always great content here's to the next installment. stay safe J.

nice T-shirt and good teamwork! Youre a lucky man not having to do this alone.

Looks great👍🏻cmon summer we're waiting!
Looks so good, you aught to be proud!
я рада за Дот -сейчас у нее будет много отличной шерсти для рукоделия!!!
First time watching!
Great job you guys!!

There is something deeply satisfying about fencing.
Even doc holiday would appreciate the speed of that tape measure draw!
But thinking draw a line on the side of the vertical bar for the height you need the posts to go in, save measuring every time?
Hey Kris, could you please use a chalk board or a white board and draw out a map of your place? It is hard not to get confused when you watch on video about where your fields are in relationship to the house and the workshop.
Fantastic
Fun tip.. use a pushing chain to round your posts off.. works better..better finish
Great to see you and Dot working so well together.
Fencing is very hard you all have done a great job
That's a lot of hard work!
Love the video, thanks a lot. I'm quite sure that the sheep would really love a shed, or some kind of cover to get them out of the weather. They really do not like rain. Just my observation on norwegian free ranging sheeps and cows
For info sheep is both singular & plural in English.
@@tonygrimes13 Tnx Edit my mistake.
The notification that always brings me joy!
Súper work 👍🏻I hope the politicians don't bother with your projects
Well done to you both, those fences look professionally done. You have created some very useful animal raising zones. Next step you own animals.
You are doing a really nice job on your fencing.
AMAZING !!!!!! GREAT JOB
Fantastic job 👍😁
