Hello! I am 16 years old, I am planning to go to Santa Barbara on summer 2020, do you recommend it for my age?

Juliana Torres Hey, that’s awesome! While I was there, the age of the students was between 17 and 22. Ofcourse there were some younger and older people, but I don’t think 16 is too young! Just be sure to befriend older people over there so they can rent a car for a roadtrip and you can join them :)

Hi! Loved the video :) I’m going to SB in 2 months and they just told me their residence closed and I was going to stay there… so i would like to know about your experience in the host family and at the homeshare, since now I have to choose one of them. I think the homeshare would be a better fit for me but I’m a little worried about it being too chaotic ahahahah so if you could help me that would be great!

Hi! I’m sure you’re going to have an amazing time in SB. Staying at a host family might give you a cozy insight on the local life, but you may also get a lot of house rules. For me, the homeshare was perfect. You’re living there with a lot of other people, making it everything but boring. A bit chaotic indeed but more than worth it. In my opinion the homeshare provides you a lot more freedom and social experiences than a host family

@@RiandaPel Thank you so much! That’s what I thought and I’m glad I could hear your experience :) Sorry to bother again ahaha could you just tell me how the homeshare works? Like how many people were there, how do we cook with one kitchen for everyone, and basically everything you noticed, i am a little skeptic about those details
