Omg!!! Love it!! You always make it look so easy!! You are my inspiration on my journals with my photos.. I'm getting better adding the layers of color behind the pictures.. thank you for always sharing such fabulous ideas to help us that are not so creative and need that extra help a long the way.,.TFS😊🐚
Hi! I've been watching your adorable videos for a while. i need all the inspiration can get haha. i just checked the down bar for the first time and noticed your PO Box is in Canton, Il! What a small world. a huge chunk of our family lives there :-) Some are in Bryant and some in Peoria too.
Hehe, thanks Valeria. Alfredo was very concerned when he found out I used the goofy picture of us in a RUclips video because he doesn*t like that photo. :p
Super cute!! Halloween isn't my favorite time of year (decorating wise), but I LOVE your cutesy take on the holiday!! Are you planning on doing a December daily?? I would absolutely love to get daily videos from you!! ☺️ TFS!
Hi Krystal. Thank you. :) I*m sort of doing a December Daily this year. Everyday I*m going to keep a little journal (fauxdori insert) of my December. Then when I want to work on my album and have my photos developed I can reference my journal. My December Daily is going in my scrapbook, but I*m going to make a December Daily mini album for my family that I couldn*t spend the holidays with. I*m going to try and post process videos of them. :) Amber (bambidearr) and I have a fun series coming after Thanksgiving - 12 Days of Christmas. There are going to be a variety tutorials that can be incorporated in a December Daily. You might want to check it out.
Great video! I could watch your videos all day. Thanks for sharing! I'm curious about something though. I originally got hooked on your videos because of you pen pal videos, where you did your own art. Are you planning on doing more of those videos in the future??? They are sooooo awesome! Very inspiring. My favorite one was the Snoopy mail!!!!!!
Hi Celeste! I*m so glad you asked girly. :) To be honest I really miss making those videos. Quick question, do like just the drawing aspect or a combination of snail mail and drawing? I really want to do a Christmas scene with Chip and Dale.
I love the drawing. The snail mail is a fun part too it, but I LOVE the drawing! A Christmas scene sounds AWESOME!!! Fingers crossed for a process video!
Ms. Meg, Love your videos! You are to cute! Heading over to your etsy shop. But, I have to give you a little advice... you are rolling up scotch tape for your memories. Yes, acid free; but, in a few years it will dry out and your work will fall awful. I would hate to see your time wasted. Wonder if I learned this the hard way?!? Hmm... Don't know about washi yet; so, I just use double sided tape because I don't want to find out 2 or 3 years down the road. LOL!!! Love ya! Keep up the amazing work! Hugs!
I live in Illinois! WHere are you talking about that you went for this? I would love to check it out next year or for Christmas this year. I adore your sweet videos, I am so happy I found them! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas... I'll be back! Warm Hugs, Gale The Happy Stamper :)
geegeebean - Thank you sweetie! i've been so busy decorating the house for Christmas that I haven't been in my craft room for over a week - Eeeeek! I am hoping to get in there and make some project tomorrow, keep your eye out for a Christmas Home TOur video coming soon. *Hugs*
Love it! Your videos always inspire me. Where do you get your photos printed? I haven't always been happy with the quality at Wal-Mart or Rite-Aid. They aren't true 4x6 and sometimes the top of photo is cut off. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Laurie! I print my photos at Walgreens. I upload my photos from my computer to my Walgreen*s account. This way I can keep adding photos to my Walgreen*s photo album until I*m ready to print or Walgreen*s is running a special. :) In the past I printed my photos at Wal-Mart at the photo kiosk, if I remember correctly I had issues with photos getting cropped where they were not intended. To fix that you have to manually adjust each photo that looks like it might be cropped in an odd place. This will cause the photo to have white bars on the top and bottom, similar to widescreen movies, but all the picture will be in the photo. I hope that helps you a little bit.
You are the BEST layering teacher--ever!!!!
OMG! I go to the Apple n Pork Festival every year! Love it! Love your video!
