This song is a drumming master class in dynamics and accents, a classic example of something that a lot of drummers could fake through but very few can play properly like this.

Playing this for the first time successfully was such a fucking rush. I stopped playing the drums right after high school, like 10 years ago. I didn't have space in my first apartment and had to get rid of my drum set. Never lived somewhere with enough room to get a new one. I was engaged and my partner and I broke up last week. I realized this morning that I'll finally have the space to play again. Searched for this and I almost teared up. I want to play again so badly. Can't wait.

I’ve played enough drums to recognize great drummers as well as the fact that I suck at drums. This song is all about dynamics and you nail it!!! God the way you and Jimmy break the beat open in the chorus after that snare roll is EVERYTHING for this song. The frantic snare before the song opens up. He’s so good and so are you!

Yeah great work mate, best cover I've heard by a long way. Definitely helps when you replicate jimmy's set up. Can tell you're a real jimmy fan. What kind of kit you using? Maple custom perhaps? The snare sounds exactly like the record too, what snare is it? :)
Ever since I started drumming he's always been in my top 3 for sure! He's definitely the master of the single stoke roll lol. This kit is a Yamaha Stage Custom Birch and the snare is a regular 14x5 Ludwig Acrolite. One of the most affordable/ best sounding snares in my opinion!
