Her Perun, thanks for the heads up on the anti mater famers. Was just about to go set some up myself. Looks like most of the asteroids or small moons only have 2-1 or even less everywhere, everywhere except Saturn. Prometheus, Pandora has a whopping 220, which is a lot, then you spot that Epimetheus, Rnceladus, Janus all have 440. Now were talking! Finally some places that are worth farming, then you spot Mimas has 880 and know what you need to build the first station on. Saturn is where the anti matter is at.
Imagine the surprise of the aliens when the bald monkeys start just dominating the space war after years or getting their small ships and stations blown up.
Thanks for the episode ! For fleet combat i use wall formation that will allow a good plasma volley and i switch between aggressive and defensive behavior, in 3.23 it worked very well, but in 3.26 i face alien ships that can point defense my plasma (! not sure if it's a bug or not !) so the wall/plasma volley is not as efficient but it's still ok. In the end i try manual combat and autoresolve and take the best result. Alien fleets are quite weak compared to their attack power, they use missile, mag and laser at the same time, very inefficient, it would be different if they were using full missile or full laser or full mag or full plasma (all with pd) and only dreadnought/big ships. For antimatter, Devs nerfed harvesting very hard, don't know why, the best spot in the Saturn moons (880) didn't yield, so i edited game files and my harvesting 3 T3 farm yielded same amount as 6 supercolliders. Anyway in the end after a few years i decommissioned the harvester base and removed half my supercolliders because i only need a few antimatter for the am spiker. Note about Alien space bases, they use plasma, they can pd your plasma (and mag/missiles) and are weak to laser, so the best option is to quickly come mid range, always face incoming to tank it and have big/medium laser on your ships. My Plasma Titans 6 6 61 have 2 pdl 2 medium laser and 1 plasma canon and they get the job done (0 loss in autoresolve, 1-2 loss in manual, fleet of 16 Titans), your 250 front armor Titans will probably work very well. (full plasma so the base pd will have a hard work, especially in medium range, because plasma shot are fast)
I did the same thing with antimatter farms. Theirs a planet with a 200 value on the antimatter and after i set it up i saw i was still getting next to nothing for it
Very interesting videos so far. I do have to say is that even after fixing whatever nerfed the aliens early on, they still seem to be pretty much just getting mowed down in every encounter.
it's their ship design. too much stuff that can be countered by pd and I'm fielding a lot of the best PD in the game. they really need to switch to plasma
@@PerunGamingAU After they switch to plasma, what can you do to counter that? More and more layers of armor seems to be the only thing? Better heat-dispersing armor might be an option if it exists, the alien alloy one seemed to only be good for anti-laser purposes though... Well that or learning to dodge their shots, which would take a helluva a lot of combat accel and turn accel to manage that, as well as constant facing changes...
I noticed something in that big battle near the start: You kept issuing priority targets for the entire fleet when you intended to do so (I assume) for specific vessels. Yet to finish so unsure whether you took note, but in case you haven't, there you have it! Top buttons are fleet wide, bottom ones are ship specific.
@PerunGamingAU Antimatter farming isn't good at Jupiter, but at Saturn there's 2 asteroids with 440 antimatter and 2 or 3 Asteroids with 220 antimatter as well, but the true king is Mimas with 880 Antimatter, which makes it very good place to farm! Not as much production as supercolliders, but not as expensive in the long term either.
I also enjoy that just due to how the mechanics of this game works, all antimatter is produced off earth. I could totally see that being a entirely realistic regulation for the stuff in real life.
JohnnyLump remains the same sort of gremlin he was back in xcom long war he's always adored punishing players for their crime of being new, and he's held that torch proudly into Terra Invicta
When Perun discover an agent is a traitor he is not angry or disgusted. He is like a father who failed his son. Like in one piece when whitebeard was stab in the back in marine ford! haha
Also, may I request that we be given a recap of what’s been going on at earth mainly for the other factions? I kinda want to see what notable powers that still remains not under HF control and which factions respectively they are controlled by.
With so many PD boats, i suggest tuning your nose phasers on BBs to shoot ships only (not guardian mode) because they shot missiles preferable and dont do damage to enemy ships (12:00 battle)
The fix that I have found for that ship classification issue is to make a new class which is identical, except for the classification is different, and then refit at a shipyard. The refit is instant (0 days), however it does require a shipyard with an open queue (unless there is a way to change the order of items in the queue).
Just something to consider for the future war strategy but maybe you can priority target alien mines with high base metals and volatiles yields? Because aside from the exotics the biggest need for resources in ship construction seem to be base metals and volatiles at least for your ships so if you can cripple major centers of metal and volatiles production for the aliens perhaps you could put a dent in their shipbuilding capacity

5:50 After Castillo's whining about the scientists, it's so perfectly on brand that Humanity First would misspell the word Pharaoh when naming one of their space vessels.
TODAY: Ganymede.
TOMORROW: Saturn.
"They're standoff vessels" he says while showing a Space Superiority roled ship that'll be spawned in closer than his actual Standoff-roled ships ;)
role assignment is somthing I still often forget
38:30 "So it's only appropriate *Hard Cut*"
I'm guessing it's Max, and amused at the cliff hanger.
It is. You can see him writing it. And it is HILARIOUS !
Titans!!! I love how you named it after your best cyborg assassin!
Thank you for your insane upload schedule Perun. Everyday I look forward to a new terra invicta video
A little constructive critism. On my playback the video audio level is low compared to the majority of other video channels I watch. Just wanted to pass it on to who ever does the final edit. The rest of it is the BEST.
cheers for heads up.
@@PerunGamingAU Yeah bit too low on my headphones and no subtitles
I cannot wait to see those large ships get into combat
Feel you man, I did the same thing for antimatter and never felt so cheated of a good deal on paper in my life when I saw the input.
21:42 Thank you for taking the hit and saving me from wasting my time researching (and building) that farm.
The UI in this game...
The resource bar at the top of the screen establishes a standard unit of 1,
anything that isn't that unit of 1 should be indicated with a symbol or a decimal point
(without reading 3 paragraphs of text in a pop-up tool-tip, after hovering over the number in an info screen).
i.e. 35:42 When you're are explaining the antimatter spiker, build cost 160u fissiles and 200n antimatter.
The resource amounts listed are in deca-tons right?
13 tons of antimatter a month…
That’s is frankly hysterical. That’s enough to put a hole in a continent.
A MONTH
I feel like the antimatter units have to be different....right?
Dang, that titan is an interplanetary battering ram! Just how thick is the nose armor?!
7-10 meters from memory.
I wonder if a ramming fleet meta would be viable. For shits and giggles ofc
@@PerunGamingAU Closer to ten than seven. The lancer has 200 armor and it is 7,5 meters thick. Add another 80 (I think), and you get roughly 10,5 meters of armor, if my math is correct. To quote TheRussianBadger:
*MY FACE IS MY SHIELD !*
@@manofironthathasntturnedcr9817 *WELL, I CAN'T READ ANYWAY!*
awwww on the Griffins. That's sad about them. Maybe we can befriend them.
Good episode.
Maybe if this wasn't a Humanity First playthrough... 😭
Perun: This is the drop bear, it's basically a gun
Me: It's the A-10 Warthog of Space Australia's fleet.
The primary target button at the top of the screen is for all ships. Unless I am mistaken, you have been directing your entire fleet to target individual ships when you've been trying to spread out your fire. I worry that you are going to blow up gunships with your nuclear missiles instead of mothers hips. The primary target button next to the ship display at the bottom of the screen is what you're looking for.
Perun you need to use an Inspire mission on your mouse. It is clearly turned by the Servants.
For the Repair module, I dunno if it auto repairs, I've never noticed it. What I did notice was, when you go to repair those ships at a station, the price is ridiculously small(nano range for metal/rares, etc.) and more importantly, repairs are INSTANT. (click, even on pause, you can repair complete window popup right away).
@45:00 I bet that Griffin just wants a side of Beef, some ear rubs, and someone to tell him he's a Good Boy. I volunteer for this Mission! You're a good boy, Griffin... Let's go find you a cow. 🐄
Thanks for the video. That was a massive space battle for this stage of the game. It was a fun watch.
These are starting to become the kind of chaotic space battle I was looking forward to.
Thank you for these videos! This is first time I've been excited to wait for youtube videos and watch them asap when they come out :)
I absolutely love that there is now a ship class called the drop bear lmao.
Guys, watch the fleet battle with some Legend of Galactic Heroes music, absolute perfection
Re watching this and the space battles are quite my favourite part of the run, geometry made lethal
Love you Perun! Great playthrough
Imagine the surprise of the aliens when the bald monkeys start just dominating the space war after years or getting their small ships and stations blown up.
In space no one can smell your pheracites 😤
I'm really addicted to this series, keep up the good work
Thanks for the episode !
I hope we get an A.C.T class titan, might even manage to be the same size as the territory.
I did the same thing with antimatter farms. Theirs a planet with a 200 value on the antimatter and after i set it up i saw i was still getting next to nothing for it
This gentlemen and gentlewomen is how 40k war ships are made
Those ship designs are straight up amazing! I cannot wait to see them in battle!
Slowly and slowly the Perun empire is rising
Drop bear class lancer. A fitting class name for big coil cannon.
That and calling PNG Timor Leste were big oops
This is going to be real important when he gets that nuke ship in a battle to avoid nuking himself :D
Bless the mind too small for doubt indeed, says Humanity First.
38:15 I almost fell out of my chair, very good one
I also enjoy that just due to how the mechanics of this game works, all antimatter is produced off earth. I could totally see that being a entirely realistic regulation for the stuff in real life.
i wouldn't want people producing quantities of it on planet. mercury is safer
@@PerunGamingAU ...but you are still selling it to unknown people
@@emilsinclair4190 they pay really well
gripping stuff, & I am greatly looking forward to seeing your new designs in action
its funny how the smallest alien ships have the most intimidating names
If the first Titan you produce is not named the "Steve Irwin" we riot.
Perhaps you can recommission that orbital Jupiter base into making the Titans you have been planning on.
Wow! Getting really exciting!
JohnnyLump remains the same sort of gremlin he was back in xcom long war
he's always adored punishing players for their crime of being new, and he's held that torch proudly into Terra Invicta
When Perun discover an agent is a traitor he is not angry or disgusted. He is like a father who failed his son. Like in one piece when whitebeard was stab in the back in marine ford! haha
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Alien attack ships on fire, off jupiter.
I watched phasers glitter in the darkness at Io.
First time I have ever heard an Ozzy say they got faith in Canberra
Also, may I request that we be given a recap of what’s been going on at earth mainly for the other factions? I kinda want to see what notable powers that still remains not under HF control and which factions respectively they are controlled by.
Keep it up man you're killing it
With so many PD boats, i suggest tuning your nose phasers on BBs to shoot ships only (not guardian mode) because they shot missiles preferable and dont do damage to enemy ships (12:00 battle)
already started next ep when engaging assault carriers
At this point, max has graduated from a pain in the ass into a 33k tons of pure pain for aliens 😂😂😂😂
I love the end of that quote "I hate these guys". So accurate.
So excited to see the new huge ships fight
By now human battle cruisers have reached the status of absolute monsters with the aliens. It’s only going to get worse!
The fix that I have found for that ship classification issue is to make a new class which is identical, except for the classification is different, and then refit at a shipyard. The refit is instant (0 days), however it does require a shipyard with an open queue (unless there is a way to change the order of items in the queue).
The spinal coilgun velocity is only 9.9 kps??? Those babies should be relativistic.
38:25 this man has high quality comedy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What an excellent choice of names.
23:30 Oh boy, what we have here is a good old fashioned boondoggle!
Best start into the weekend :D
Just something to consider for the future war strategy but maybe you can priority target alien mines with high base metals and volatiles yields? Because aside from the exotics the biggest need for resources in ship construction seem to be base metals and volatiles at least for your ships so if you can cripple major centers of metal and volatiles production for the aliens perhaps you could put a dent in their shipbuilding capacity
