Archaeology Made Easy | Get Almost Every Rare Toy, Pet And Mount In a Easy Way!

- Archaeology got introduced in Cataclysm and that means that right now there are a lot of rare items you can obtain from it. So I decided to make a simple archaeology guide on how you can obtain almost every rare toy, pet, transmog or mount from archaeology in a easy way.
Even though I'm saying in a easy way it will still be time consuming!
But if you are bored with Dragonflight or are someone that likes to collect everything in world of warcraft then I hope that I gave you something new to do for at least a couple of hours.
Through archaeology you are able to obtain a lot of rare items, for example the Vial of the sands recipe which if you craft it will give you the sandstone drake. The sandstone drake turns you into a dragon that allows you to carry another person on top of you. Then there is a ultramarine qiraji battle tank mount, A Fossilized Raptor Mount and a spirit moose mount, Spirit of Eche'ro. There are also a lot of toys, pets and transmog you can get from it but the reason that most people probably don't bother with it is because archaeology is boring as hell which is sad since it could've been a really cool profession.

Just started working on this need the puzzle box i want a Crawg mount and been farming underrot since bfa and that damn thing wont drop so gonna try the puzzle box route but sadly no one i know has it

Is there a toy that turns you into a mantid?
I don't think there is a toy for that however, there is a potion that can disguise you as a mantid or some other races. It's called Silas' Decanter of Disguise

I was said kid who farmed for his father lol. I spent many hours fishing just because I wanted to be able to play the game lol. I have not done it to my child, but I was going to during plunderstorm if she could have just gotten her room clean faster.

I mean you could just dig in Legion, no? Without any requirements all the digsites are always limited to one Zone depending on the current weekly quest.
You could but the amount of fragments you need to solve one artifact in Legion is way higher than when you are farming mantid artifacts for restored artifacts.
This does not cover the real reason it is so hard to get the mounts/toys. after 4 rare items for each race you have a much much lower chance to get the rest of the rares of that race. this is especially noticeable for the tolvir. The only solution is to make another character and get lucky early. I managed to complete archeology doing this, used 3 chars in total and you get the first rare within the first 10 solves for tolvir.
Rest of the video is well done and dragonriding makes it a lot faster.
is this official info? I've been farming for Zin'rokh for years (on 5 characters) and I have never come across this kind of info. Only crucial info I've gained was you had to be a certain arch level to even be able to get the rarest items.
Do you have a link to a official blizzard post that says you will have a reduced chance to get rare items after getting 4? I never heard of that so I'm curious 👀
@@ItsDanta no this is not official info, i tried to get tolvir done for over a year, then a friend who is even more of a collector(44k+ points maglar-blackmoore (eu)) told me this and i tried his method and got two rares in one day. getting to 600 is really not hard so you have little to loose timewise. there is a mmo-champion post that asks "Who got 6/6 Tol'vir rare artifacts" and most people say they have over 1k solves and are still on 5/6, but there was a bug early on that allowed 6/6. i can't confirm this bug,, but i know there were several bugs that got fixed including the reshuffeling of sites just running out and in of a zone
