This 2019 printing with the restored font is now my favourite RWS. Cardstock is excellent. I have some vintage Blue Box RWS decks but I don't feel the call to use them with this 2019 version now available.
Sorry, I don’t really know of anyone who has backstock of the one available in 2019...the one without the hand drawn titles. I’m sure they’ll pop up here and there on eBay, though.
@@melissazupan6026 I just received the miniature RWS deck by US Games. It does appear to have the calligraphy, and not a typeface. I was pleasantly surprised, I was expecting gaudy, over-saturated colors but they are subdued, pastel. Compared to the Centennial, for instance, the yellow sky on the Fool and Magician cards looks yellow-orange, where on the miniature, it looks a pastel lemon yellow. The miniature deck is just large enough to shuffle and see, small enough to use in a cramped space. The finish is not a matte finish though, it is glossy. Not super glossy, but no texture. The one benefit I can see is that if one were to scan the cards I think that the glossy finish would give a better result.
I have been using this deck quite a lot lately. I like it. It's vibrant.

Thank you, so much ; your voice is very reassuring!
It always annoyed me they got rid of the original titles in the first place. That's cool they put it back! Thanks for the vid=)
I've been waiting to grab one since so many people are getting the older editions. Thanks for sharing!
PS - Fave line from this video - "Handy dandy steak knife of DOOOOOOOM... which gets little use in my house!"
PPS - Also I thought it odd that they used the old logo on the back of the new LWB while the old LWB has the new logo they used on the new box.
Hah! That's what happens when you spend your formative years as a vegetarian...you tend to not eat that much steak thereafter. :)
I LIKE THE TIGHTER FONT ON THE OLDER ONE : ) I LIKE COMPARISON VIDS!
Where can I purchase this? 🥺
I cannot find a 2019 publishing. Do you have a suggestion for finding it?

The US Games website has it available for 22.
Do you know if the Pocket, and the Miniature editions from US Games have the original calligraphy?
I don't believe they do.
@@melissazupan6026 I am getting a miniature on Tuesday so I can compare it against the Centennial.
The miniature and pocket versions always had the original font.

Hello! Yes, the Pocket and Miniature Rider-Waite Tarot Decks have Pamela Colman Smith's original hand-drawn titles.
