1:10 - wait is that a legal shot? I thought at least 1 cushion has to be hit after contact with the object ball? Or is that just American pool?

It doesn't need to hit a cushion in the league we play in

after you pot the first ball on a foul, the 2 shots don't carry. you then only have 1. you can use the first shot on the foul to move an opponents ball out the way or even pot it without being penalized
