Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang is the son of Chen Zhaoxu, the 19th generation Standard Bearer of his family's style of Taijiquan, and holds the highest honor of 9th Duan Wei awarded by the Chinese Wushu Association. He was born in 1945 in Chenjiagou, Henan, China, and began studying Taijiquan at the age of 7. Grandmaster ChenXiaowang has received numerous honors for his Taijiquan prowess, and is also a noted calligrapher and scholar. His gentle manner and clear and concise teaching style has earned him the reputation as one of the best Taijiquan instructors in the world.
