So much easier to buy your supplies for back to school, without all the kids, less chaotic. Then having a list of what they needed to have, when choosing. Crazy Middles did the same kind of thing too. Savannah loves been around and helping mum and dad. Blessings to you all.

I really loved how the sisters spent time in yesterday’s vlog buying clothes and enjoying quality time with each other. Bella’s sentiment about buying back to school clothes and being apart of a loving caring family really hit home for me that these kids have been raised correctly with the right priorities.I also found the whole scene with giving the homeless lady the visa giftcard very touching and sweet. It was so wholesome and Im glad the girls know whats it like to bless people less fortunate

it very much does hit home because when it comes to foster care, not a lot of kids get to have the privilege of receiving new things. i was in foster care at age 10 & was in the system for about 5 years. not once did i ever go back to school shopping & i used the same backpack for every school year. just because money is sent for you, doesn’t mean it’s spent on you. bellas sentiment was completely correct.

These children are so thankful and sweet. The love that this family has for one another is phenomenal. To hear that some of them have never even gone before school shopping just makes me realize how fortunate a lot of us are and don’t even realize it.
Bella, My son had the same problem with Pencils when he was in school. I love how you got everything organized Chrystal, it really makes a difference. I miss school shopping with my son.
This brought me back to my back to school days with my mom. These are forever memories!
As a former teacher, it is so refreshing to hear Crystal think ahead about getting extras for kids who may not have supplies! School supplies are one of my favorite commodities! I am so grateful to see the bond between Savannah and Crystal and Aaron. She seems so at ease and trusting of their genuine love and devotion to her well-being. I don’t know about y’all, but I adored back to school shopping growing up. Maybe it has something to do with my disability, but I loved looking at all the cute backpacks and folders and binders and lunchboxes and water bottles and clothes and would give anything to have those memories back.

The cyber school students could use the weekly dry erase board to write out their schedule each week with deadlines and assignments.
Our school is done for the summer on June 28th/29th & back to school usually September 7th/8th.
I haven't been in school for many, many years, but I still love looking at school supplies. 📘📒📓🖍✏️🖋
Surely they must have some stuff from the last school year that they could use again. You can reuse folders, some pens, scissors calculators etc….
Savannah was such a great help! I love the way you organized all supplies and let them get what they needed as you called it out.
Our school PTO does fundraisers through the year. Then, take a portion of the money to buy the majority of the supplies, so parents don't have to buy everything. Our parents love this idea.

I have two kids but this is what I have done the last few years. And I always have extras for when they run out during the year because they are cheaper now and I don’t have to make an extra trip to the store for something. I love how Savannah encouraged you to get the white board. We all need that in our lives. 😂

That’s actually really good for 11 kids! I used to work at target and ringing out back to school transactions was always fun to see what people were buying but it was always so expensive.

Love when you go school supply shopping and it went so well this year. I teach second grade and we also have a list for parents, so thanks for going by that list because we do share them with the entire class. I prefer for my students to get the larger head phones because the ear buds are small and easy to lose and they often get tangled. It is also hard to label them with kids names. My students don't start school until August 29, but we also didn't finish school until June 17th.

That is a really good idea Savannah has with the mini stapler, I’m a high school student and am always getting up to staple things
Aaron, put 1 garlic 🧄 in a normal size bowl, put a second bowl on top & shake. After 5 minutes of the shaking the garlic 🧄 should shed it's skin rather easily, ONLY have to cut butt off. This is a tip gotten from an Egyptian chef. My late husband & I used the method for years. It worked.

I studied French for about 10 years and spent a semester studying abroad in Paris, yet I can barely hold a simple conversation in the language. 😑
@@DanaPAH I totally understand why... In French, we use 'familiar words', like a lot, so for a non-native speaker, it can be very difficult. And all the conjugaison....
But belive me, if you only speak a few words like 'bonjour' or 'comment allez vous', that's means a lot for us, we appreciate the effort!
And we are not very good at speaking English so, don't worry 😂

The small dry erase boards are awesome for doing math w/virtual school. I used that with all of my kiddies & their math. I also buy surplus of extra supplies to donate to the class and have them at home. It is also much cheaper then buying them later in the year at full price.
The other day me and my mom went to Walmart alone and we bought school supplies for me and my sister!
We got the same pencil pouch as Aurora( sorry if I spelled it wrong! ) for my sister! It’s really fun to play with if I say so myself

The best way I have found for garlic is use a wide blade knife lay on the garlic and give it a good whack. The peel comes off easy and then you can chop it easily or slice.
Just FYI about Fiskars scissors- the ones that say "nonstick coating" (like the ballerina one) are great for cutting Duct tape (we do a lot of Duct Tape crafts).

Buying in advance can be wise. However if you buy too much, save for next year or semester. White boards are great for math & spelling practice. I don't see any clear plastic page savers, they help a lot. (I like to get them for subject dividers. Like Lucas I prefer 1 binder with dividers.) Not ONLY for students, but parents as well.

The easy way of peeling garlic, after separating the cloves of garlic, put them on the board and hit them with the side of your kitchen knife.
So every time I see you go back to school shopping, I always wonder if you have leftover supplies from the previous year? I was the youngest of five kids and we had something at home we called “supplies R us.” “Supplies R us” contained gently used school materials like binders folders etc. that at the end of the school year were deemed good enough to keep for the next school year that way we weren’t going out and buying all new school supplies each time. As the youngest yeah it might’ve gotten annoying getting hand me downs but I did get some new things if we didn’t have any leftover supplies from the previous year. Also I had an L.L. Bean backpack that lasted from kindergarten to junior year of high school, then senior year I got a new one. We weren’t buying new backpacks each school year and backpacks were never hand me downs.
Love how organized and the boys helping , Savannah is just so mature and with a very transperant personalty , Bella is the sweetest and so humble , Hannah is just beyound cute and her asking you Crystal about motherhood made me recall my daughters when they were teens , Ari will be missed and your babygirl Auroral will throw around that backpack meny times Iam sure but she is a child with the a fiesty & orecious attatude , so happy to see her developing so well , may this school year bring them all the best. as I also have grandkids and want the same fir them ❤

Honestly.. Savannahs gonna LOVE taking french is SO fun and it's super easy for french 1 French 2 is kinda hard bc u have to write and talk in French the entire time 😂
We push a knife onto the 🧄 and it pops right out. Have you thought about getting baskets and putting each individual kids items in the basket? May keep it more organized and less hectic for you.
I used the plastic pouches for my kindergartner last year (homeschool) that way I didn’t need to print stuff a million times.

I took 2yrs of Spanish and 7yrs of French. I definitely loved French more but Spanish is more useful.
This is literally me and my mom, except there are 6 kids of all ages. She started only taking me because everyone goes crazy for back to school and well.. having little/young siblings running around throwing stuff they want in the cart.. isn't always the best. I love them though :)

I’m a retired cashier if 17 years at Walmart & my register never cut off at 400. I’ve rang up 3 full baskets for teacher’s. Now at the shelf checking out which I also maintain u can only check out 12 items. I used to have to send people to a regular cashier. Shelf checkout doesn’t have enough space. I’m not buying school supplies this year. Still have plenty from last year. That don’t usually use every thing that’s asked. Just a waste

When my kids entered High School, I bought them each a really expensive north Face Big back pack. Best thing I ever did, they used them 4 years in high school and 4 years for college. Best money I have ever spent. Plus if a zipper breaks or clip breaks they warranty it and fix it for free.

I took French for 6 years because my elementary school did it and now I am 7th grade and trust me it’s really easy but it’s also because I am younger so maybe we learn different but I don’t know! Good luck!!
As a kindergarten teacher, the earbuds are a big probLem. They do not know how to keep the cord untangled. We had a parent buy us a whole class set and the kids all went back to the over the head ones. They got so frustrated with them. My suggestion is the larger non-Bluetooth for the littles.
I took 2 years of French in highschool. It was fun. I also took a year of Japanese. I can still watch a movie in French and completely follow along. Savannah I hope you enjoy taking the class.
