I appreciate you noticing. The drone footage is fun and gives a different perspective of cross-country skiing. Thanks for tuning in and for being a subscriber.
Nice video! You live in a beautiful area with so many fantastic options. Just went for a nice little ski myself today on a FS road in Teton Valley, Idaho.
Hang on to your hats, there's a storm a brewing for our area. Thanks for tuning in and for posting. It has been an amazing January for skiing, that's for sure.
Hi Tom, glad I stumbled across your channel here. I'm a fellow BC enthusiast and do most of my adventuring in Scandinavia. Wondering if you would be willing to answer a couple of questions I have regarding planning a BC ski trip in the US.? If yes, how can I get in touch? Many thanks, Julien
Hi Julien. I wish RUclips had a direct method of private communication, but to my knowledge they do not. You can send me a private message over on www.telemarktalk.com/ I'm Tom M on that forum as well and we can exchange email addresses there. Once we have done that we can delete this comment and the private message on telemarktalk
Hi Tom welcome to ideal kick wax temps, lol. Here in the upper Midwest we've been getting warmer temps in winter unfortunately. Due to this I have acquired more fishscaled skis. I never liked them in cold temps because they are so slow, but at 25 and above on fast snow they are pretty good. Now in the temps you are skiing in the video a hard green glide wax on the tips and tails with green and then later blue for the kick wax and you would be zooming right along, lol. Just wanted to point out to those that don't know that colder temps can be great for skiing if you're on waxable skis.
Cloudy, miserable and rainy here in the Midwest. No sun, no snow, tough to enjoy outside. Thanks for the mini vacation.
Thats a bummer. I hope that winter returns in February for your area. In the meantime, thanks for virtually joining us on our XC outings.
Sweet drone work, Tom.

Yup! Unfortunately temps will be quite warm, so it might be pretty wet snow.
