Hella late, but this video is saving my butt- for some reason tacking a horse and remembering the order and what’s called what stresses me out more than actually riding. my second lesson (tomorrow) is going to have other people-which is making me nervous bc I don’t want to look dumb or make a bad mistake. This video is settling those nerves down alot. Thank you:)

All I needed to know what to do was the martingale. The horses where I work have the martingale’s attached to the bridle already, I’m able to put on the martingale now! This really helped, i just need to undo the reins and take it off. It’s so much easier that to get it all tangled!

I like the leg wrap/boots you have but i ride western could I still put b those on my horse
Taylor Waters I don't ride western so I don't really know what you can or can't wear for competitions but I can't see why you shouldn't be allowed to wear them when training or trail riding as it is good to protect your horses legs and tendons! Mine are from Horze equestrian and I love them they also come in loads of cool colours and are fairly cheap:D

Omg u are so lucky to have such a lovely horse I got my first pony in March and she was very bold and wouldn't let me put her bridle on but now she is so much better
Yes I am very fortunate to have him though he has definitely been a lot of hard work to get to the level that we are at and sometimes I can't believe this is the same horse sometimes it just takes a while for you to get used to each other
