Aliens and The Thing are among my most favorite movies of all time. I never considered what would happen if they encountered each other. This is what we need to see on the big screen.
I want to see a Predator fused with Venom vs a Xenomorph fused with Carnage. That would be one heck of a fight to combine the Spider Man universe with the Wayland Utani universe.
Another RUclips platform which I will not name and might know did an excellent versus. The Thing from another world vs The Blob. It was an excellent story and the outcome was something I never expected.
WOW that was awesome. Ironic with the Xenomorph XX121 having to fight a last stand AND losing is a new and terrifying concept. The "Thing" is an APEX horror!
It really shows how scary the Thing is that it is a horror monster even to a Xenomorph. If a Xenomorph is terrified of something then you know things have gotten terrifying.
Exactly. That was a bit of an error on the video maker's part. The Thing doesn't have the ability to adapt to external threats, it literally perfectly copies organics and is able to modify their base features to work in tandem. We see in the films they don't get bullet proof or immune to fire. Bullets just aren't very effective because each cell in The Thing is alive. It's possible The Thing on the microscopic level can be killed by the potential hosts natural defense mechanisms, like the immune system. Which is why all the on screen assimilations shown have a massive introduction of virus to the new host, usually through direct contact with flesh on flesh. Xenomorphs are protected by a very strong exo skeleton and if Thing cells are able to get past that, they'd probably just melt when trying to infect their acidic blood. Xenomorphs are probably the WORST opponent for the Thing virus, because unless the virus has already assimilated something capable of physically destroying them, the virus can't infect them to copy them.
And the Thing couldn’t operate in freezing conditions - just like in the original movie. Also, I’m not 100% certain but I don’t think the Thing is able to assimilate the dead
Not only this, xenomorph corrupt the dna of their host with a powerfull mutagen, that's how they reproduce, not INSIDE a host but FROM a host. They can even turn their prey into eggs if they have no queen, meaning that mutagen can be used by any of them. Even if the thing adapt to their acidic blood it would be corrupted by that mutagen, or at least it would prevent the thing from absorbing xenomorph It's not even about prometheus, covenant and romulus movies, Alien 3 with it's runner xeno showed us they do not simply put an embryo inside their prey, they would not inherit their host caracteristics if they was not litterally bound tor their dna
Holy sh1t. This was incredible , especially the images. Had a good idea that the thing wouldn't have too much trouble based on it's mutating/absorbing powers. 10/10. 👍👍
@@jdsim9173 predator would trap it in its net blaster then plasma blast it to death until it was completely blown up and or incarcerated.. heck the predator would prob figure out a way to freeze it back into the ice as well like humans found it until it dethawed.
They need the predator with not only its technology and fighting. It will probably be able to kill those monstrosities with its weapons and strength but these things are best not to be man handled by the predators hands as it will be infected if that the right word. It’ll need more than that. It will need its intelligence and technology to destroy this monstrosity! Predator would be able to find a way to triumph and without even being absorbed by it either as predators are stealthy but also elusive and intelligent and not only brute strength. It will need some sort of chemical warfare technology perhaps to kill it. Lol and to no surprise, they most likely do have that intelligence and technology to do it.
i think the acid blood would stop the thing from absorbing the xenomorph, also makes for a more interesting fight. The Thing needing to use whatever abilitys it can absorb from nearby animals to fight against the Xenos.
Personally I feel like it would've been a slow encounter. The Thing will more than likely slowly assimilate the Xenomorphs one by one on a cellular level than slowly take over the nest. Eventually using the crashed space craft to build a ship, and leave that moon. Though it would take some time since The Thing can't withstand freezing temperatures. Though I feel The Thing would ultimately win this battle with time.
Not surprising given the " things" biomolecular structure to consume everything. I certainly hope this is part 1 of this story with part 2 being the yautja ( ya- ooo- ja) landing on this planet and taking on this monstrosity. I was hoping it would absorb the queen alien and take on the yautja just before he got there. And yes..........predator vs john rambo in the jumgles of vietnam
This story has the qualities and should be a real movie! I vote that the "Thing" should become part of the "Alien and Predator universe"! I humbly suggest Astartes vs Predator or the Thing.
I believe the whole world. Is getting as bad, as Wellington Yotoni. Looking for power. As for the Thing vs Xenomorph. I have to say. I like both alien creatures. I think the xenomorph is better. They are my favorite. The xenomorph in the Thing together. Make a interesting creature. What would venom? Be like with one of these aliens. Or even both. This is a good video. Is the Thing from a world like Pennywise. Something man kind doesn't understand. Good video.
I'm going to say this before watching: I think this would just result in a more dangerous Thing (it needs a 'species name', although elsewhere I've heard it called 'Star Doppleganger' 😏) Yes, the Alien Acid would burn up much of it, but I think enough would be left over to copy the cells of the Xenomorph and duplicate it.
I like the story, but I really don't see the thing adapting to the Xenomorph blood, afterall it's a potent acid, and acids destroy anything that isn't itself, so how can it be incorporated?
Personally I tend to think the aluen's inorganic silicone base (as described by Ash in the first film) combined with molevular acid that could eat through 3 decks if metal before finally stopping would prove impossible to assimilate. The Thing might succeed by allowing utself to be face hugged thereby absorbing the empryo and gaining access to the xeno genetics. Then things would play out like this story.
I love the thing. But the xenos lore and background would destroy the hell out of that thing. It would try to absorb the xeno, the black goo would infects its dna, that or the acid blood would destroy it.
1. Goro is not indestructible and pretty much any Predator wins if they use their technology well. Their weapons are LETHAL. However, if a Predator tries that "mano a mano fist fight" like the end of the 1st movie then Goro tears him apart unless maybe its the giant genetically engineered "upgrade" predator from the movie THE PREDATOR. That thing was HUGE at 11 feet tall (Goro is only 8 feet tall I believe?)
If fire kills the thing I don't see how it adapted to the xenomophes acid.. the acid would breakdown he cells of the thing so it wouldn't be able to Assimilate them
The thing doesn't infect dead bodies we can see this with the guy in the radio room who killed himself it needs living cells to infect, and we are not sure if the thing can even infect the alien cos it's a silicon-based lifeform, but it was alright the video still needs work and I wouldn't recommend using a.i for the writing the a.i doesn't understand the mistakes it's making
Omni man is basically a new version of Superman and has defeated giant Kaiju. Omni man would have absolutely zero difficulty against a Xenomorph. He could literally kill one in his sleep.
there are some cool match ups on this channel. this is not one of them. at least not the way it is written here. good fan fiction implies that the writer is a FAN. fans understand the canon & lore, which this video is completely ignorant of. these two species meeting would be epic, but it would NOT happen like this, at all.
@darkmatter1152 But they still managed to find a way to defeat it despite being malnourished freezing humans, that's why you when you that only a demi god could defeat the Thing is plain silly.
Meanwhile, Yautja are drawing straws to see who goes...🤣
That would funny if we see that on the big screen 😂😂😂😂😂

Maybe 1v1 the thing would win but against a xeno hive it would get interesting.
This Alien Thing match up is beyond perfect I knew The Thing would win
In both the original and John Carpenter's remake the Thing can't reanimate dead tissue and Hates the cold.
The cold was its "kryptonite" its main WEAKNESS much like the Blob. I wish these vids would stick to the abilities of the creatures based on canon.
I just love your videos, narration and atmosphere, would like some longer ones. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for your support
The Blob all consuming vs The thing master shape shifter and that would be a battle for the ages.
And interesting that both of them have the same weakness extreme cold. Imagine how much CGI would be needed to show that on a movie screen?
Anyone else think that the thing is an unstoppable virus? Great video storyboard. Thank you.
Only being that stands a chance against the Thing would be something like the Blob
I don't think The Thing is an actual virus per se, but it's an organism that behaves like one.
Isn't the blob a bacteria? Bacteria have DNA . the Thing could still assimilate it.
@@TheBIGKNOC The big question would be who absorbs who first?
Didn't fire kill the Thing in the actual movie?
This is a movie we all need!
