Helmet please son.. It's important to wear a helmet when riding a motorbike in Bali for several reasons, including: Safety: Helmets can help reduce the risk of head injuries and severe trauma in accidents. Even minor head injuries can cause permanent problems, such as memory loss, sleep disorders, or cognitive issues. Visibility: Helmets make riders more visible to other road users. Police enforcement: Police will stop you and issue a fine if you're not wearing a helmet. Some other things to keep in mind when riding a motorbike in Bali include: You'll need an International Motorbike Drivers Licence to hire a motorbike. You should lock your helmet under the seat of the motorbike. The only exception to the helmet rule is for ceremonies when men can wear their traditional Udeng headdress instead. Don't be another GoFundMe victim.
@@whotfisnoel I've had two friends come off their bikes with one head Injury in Bali. One now has short-term memory loss and the other was luckily ok with broken bones. Many end up a lot worse!
@@brett2138 so sorry sir, and yeah i have ever read news about some foreigner died on scene due to unawareness of safety riding esp. in Bali. aint wearing a helmet yet speeding or riding under influence smh

Excellent have been following you for some time - in a good way lol. I train at Wrong when I'm in Bali will join the running group in late Feb when back on the island. Also wanting to pick up some Muay Thai training to add in to the schedule. Great stuff Louis, from New Zealand
You said, that this is the best life and I believe it may be for you. It is great that you have found a coherent way for you to live. But this life ain´t for everbody I would not want to trade places for example. It seems so superficial and meaningless to me. Fully realizing that this is a judgement based on my values and experiences, so this is just to put the claim into perspective.
Hence why you’re watching a video about someone else’s dream life which is explicitly stated in the title😅 I’m curious though, as opposed to what? Where in the world are you from? I’m from England and wholeheartedly believe anyone that says they would rather a life in England than a life of adventure is either saying it out of envy, to make themselves feel better about being trapped in an abysmal establishment system that doesn’t serve them or because they feel the need to try to justify their life being so unfulfilling. I’m not sure where you’re from but here in England we have completely unaffordable living condition for a large percentage of people which is only getting worse, we have people getting themselves into 25 years worth of debt just to be able to put a roof over their heads (a roof that can be taken away should any of the repayments be missed), the weather is utterly depressing, the people are aggressive, there is no real incentive to build businesses, and the health care is is good as if not worse than many developing nations. So out of genuine curiosity, I ask again, as opposed to what?
@@amxdai4568 If you've not already left, let me show you the door. Travelled the world but always look forward to coming home to England. Perfect it's not, but it's home and I love it.... ❤

Yo Louis, going to Bali in 5th Jan, for 2 months, any recommendations on villas to rent near Canggu, Pererenan? 1-2 Bed is enough! Also, can I join you for the runners club one day, I am not a runner but want to see if I like it. Cheers
Parking fees are normal in most places in Bali, it’s common it’s not regulated but I wouldn’t exactly call it scamming plus they are only asking for 2000rp which is around 10cents.
Just a thought for a future vlog. Was the parking lot fee a scam? It seemed odd to me. Maybe you can educate us on the various scams that can happen in Bali?
