Thank you for hitting it on the head regarding South Park, it's hopelessly mean spirited and cynical at this point. They call everyone a hypocrite and act like there are no good people or things in the world except them somehow. Same for Family Guy and lots of other shows.
38:16 John Astin was a pretty good Riddler, too! 😅 And apparently there were 3 Mr. Freeze: George Sanders, Eli Wallach, and Otto Preminger. Totally worth a rewatch.
I thought no one could replace the original Star Trek cast but The Kelvin movies were great as far as the cast. Recasting Khan is the most controversial take, but the main cast? They were superb!
A Batman Mystery could be like Law And Order Criminal Intent, and show him solving a crime with his genius or be like Columbo and show the crime, then show how Batman proves the guilt of the criminal. It could have a little fighting, maybe a scene or two per episode, but mostly be the gathering of evidence and questioning of witnesses and suspects.
I used to think TNG was the best Trek and TOS was pure drek. After watching a few dozen of your videos I have softened on TOS a bit and now see DS9 as probably the best show and TNG as second and Voyager as frankly a mostly ambitious lower quality show. Voyager has a few great moments and the actors are mostly superb, saving it from being a failure in my opinion and occasionally a good idea is explored. Janeway, The Doctor, Seven, Tuvok and even Tom Paris and his wife and Harry Kim are portrayed by actors who do the best possible with the scripts they are given. The cast salvages the show and lifts many episodes to the level of entertaining but flawed. Chakotay is too one note, but the material is the cause in my opinion, not the actor.

The new Nosferatu? Stephen Miller?
